Place was crowded, people seemed to enjoy the food. We had the Falafel plate, which we were no happy with at all. The falafel... was bad, the garlic potatoes were dry and had no taste. This is our second time at this restaurant but the first time we took the food out. The food is tasty 4/5 not the best in ottawa... but definitely its not bad. We were 6 persons so we ordered the family meal. When they knew that we're dining in, they dividedthe food into shared plates as shown in the photos. Very bad. The staff is very quiet and do not talk much. It’s more expensive than shawarma palace and not nearly as good. This... shawarma is a 3/10 at best. Potatoes are old and overcooked. Usually ok, but don’t place an order online. This is the second time I’ve ordered and our platters weren’t correct. Both... our platters had different items, but when bringing it home and looking at our order, they were made indentical. It’s asthough they prepare the platters minus the meat and then add the meat to order, disregarding the order details. Order was notaccurate. For $20 a platter, not worth it. Their fries have a sauce on it that is not mentioned, and with children, theywouldn’t even touch it. Meat this visit had too much sesame sauce on it, but even then, it didn’t taste or feelfresh. Maybe order in person to ensure you’re getting fresh and accurate meal, but I don’t feel like much attention andcare is being put into the delivery/take out orders. Read more

DISGUSTING!!!! I have no clue why this place has so many 5 star reviews. It's a sunday afternoon and the store was completely... EMPTY. The food is absolutely gross. It taste is horrible and old. I couldn't finish my plate. What a horrible experience. Theway the guy cut the chicken is so unprofessional. Tiny tiny pieces that look like shredded chicken. Full of fat and grease.
