Enjoyed everything we ordered here. I had their special shrimp plate. The batter was very light, near Tempura style and the... flavor was very nice. I ordered the sautéed veggies and they were perfectly cooked, tender but not mushy. My husband had thechicken fried steak and enjoyed it as well. We topped off my birthday dinner by sharing a piece of coconut cream pie. All wasperfect! The wait staff was very accommodating as well. Go and enjoy! Read more
Stopped in after a day of sightseeing. Seated immediately, very attentive server who grabbed drink and dinner orders. What came... out would be exactly what comes to mind when you think small town family owned. The food was great, and there was lots of it!The steak was perfect. The baked potato was stuffed with toppings. The wife's roast beef was also perfect, and so generous shecouldn't eat it all. Kaitlynn (our server) was awesome. Confort food perfection. The Philly Cheesteak sandwich with aujus was the most delicious, and flavorful sandwich I've ever had.... The chicken fried chicken was tender and the mashed potatoes were definitely homemade and so good. The fries were crispy, andthe pie at the end was the *very rich* sweet ending to a great meal that was priced pretty fairly for what you get. Hubby said best chicken fried steak ever! Mine was super yummy. Homemade pie for dessert. Perfect food coma heaven.
This is a really solid hometown restaurant to stop at after a hard day of hiking. All of the food was pretty good. We had the... Impossible Burger, Chicken Fried Chicken Breast, and Emma's Nachos Supreme. Portions are kind of small, so plan on grabbingdesert and an appetizer. Great place to eat for sure. I had the Ranch Burger X2 no bun. Staff was friendly. Clientele seemed very local (which is a good... sign in my opinion). Served just as I needed and was FAST. After hiking the wave we needed excellent refueling and this was the perfect choice! We both had the steaks which were... absolutely delicious, seasoned deliciously, and cooked to perfection. Macaroni and cheese was delicious, the salads wereextremely crisp and fresh and the homemade honey mustard dressing was spot on. For dessert we chose the razzleberry pie with ascoop of ice cream. Everything was great especially the staff. They were extremely busy and running around, but yet very veryattentive and upbeat. Five stars in every aspect! Read more
