i've been visiting Red Robin restaurants at various locations for about 30 years. I remember it used to be so good. I have been... going to the Kamloops location since it first opened. My recent visit will be my last. The place has gone so far down hill itshould be in the valley bottom. I have noticed during my last couple of visits, restaurant cleanliness and food quality wasdropping. My most recent visit last week, the food was disappointing. I was expecting the same signature RR fries I've hadthere for so long. The fries were like someone literally went over to the Superstore and grabbed the cheapest no-name fries thatthey had. Some were shoestring size. Some were regular size. Some were cold and tasted 4 hours old. Some were hot. Some tastedfreezer burned. I asked the waitress, "What are these fries? Where are the regular wedge type fries?" She grunted about thembeing out of their regular fries. Then walked away. Clearly they had rounded up whatever cold, stale fires they wanted to getrid of. The red robin burger comes with an egg, patty, cheese, tomato slice, lettuce and mayo. Better than burgers you get at most pub... restaurants. The steak fries were also delicious and tastier than regular fries (bottomless too). Took a while to get my foodbut definitely worth it over a fast food burger. Read more

Food was good. Beer on tap was flat. Beer was replaced by bottled beer which was appreciated. Place is dirty. Needs to be... thoroughly cleaned. If the dining area and bathrooms are dirty, it makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is. Won?t bereturning just for that cleanliness issue. UPDATE: I received a prompt reply from the manager thanking me for my feedback andwas advised they are diligently working on the issue. I appreciated the follow up call letting me know they took the complaintto heart and are stepping up their cleaning services. I am glad because we love RR's food and would still like to continue ourpatronage. Thanks RR for the call-back. Read more

Burger was ok, no sauce at all for some reason so a bit dry. Fries were barely warm. Used to like this place the first couple... years it was open but food quality has gone down, even before covid started. Mat try again in 6 to 12 months, see if anythingimproved. At least the freckled lemonade is still good! Read more

Manager should be fired! I loved the Red Robin's in AB. Thought I'd try it here. But rumors were true. Terrible service, lack of... proper training. 1st though, ever heard of windex and paper towels? All the windows and partition glass and covid shields are sogross and nasty cleaned with a dirty wet rag!? The lights over your table covered in oily dust. Bathrooms needed attentionoverflowing garbage and no paper towels. My seat was ducktapped to cover split seat. Seat backs were covered with various colorslike whatever fabric was on-sale. Carpets shouldn't be in a restaurant and we're getting nasty. Ketchup bottles put on tablesunopened which forces customers fingers to remove seal which means customers fingers in the bottle for everyone to use afteropen. Sad to see this place run down like even the owner doesn't care. 2nd. Service, wings come out, no side plates, had to goask. Within 1 min of getting wings our main entrees showed up as well. 10 min later our sides showed up too late. Food however,was great! and was fairly busy on a Friday night, so food and fair pricing keeps some people coming back. We along with othersunfortunately won't be back due to uncleanliness. Read more

While to food was on par, the service was less than stellar and not what I?ve come to expect from the Red Robin brand. Upon... entering the restaurant after the lunch rush we were met with a quiet restaurant floor, and 3-4 employees within eyesight thatmade eye contact but did not approach, or let us know they would be with us in a moment. After waiting well over 5 minutes(which is incredibly unusual during down times) a young server approached us and let us know someone else would be with us in amoment. It took a few more minutes for another server to ask how many in our party. She needed to go clean a table and seatedus shortly afterward. The tables were filmy and sticky. The food order was taken in good time and served not long after so thekitchen was definitely on the ball, and with only one fries order being mixed up the food was as expected. The server them-selfwas fine, if a little ho-hum in attitude. Which seemed to be the general observation of the servers on the floor. No smiles fromanyone which is very unusual from the various locations we?ve visited. If you want great food, this Red Robin seems to be on parwith the chain expectations. If you want great service, don?t expect much from the afternoon servers. Read more

I am glad I went today even though the new summer burger is not out until Monday. The server that helped us was very cheerful... and checked on un many times. The new shake was okay, still prefer their typical ones. Read more

Service could use an improvement. A lot of staff seemed to not like their job. Food was good though. We were passing through to... Vancouver from Alberta (where there are no more Red Robin restaurants) This is the second time in the last 6 months and bothtimes, the staff were miserable. Read more
