I went to Blue Samurai at about 5 pm Monday and there were plenty of tables open. Our lovely server, Joann, was friendly,... attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was great. The plum sake and the food was all AMAZING. I had the dragon roll, akamisashimi, quail egg and a salmon hand roll. I would recommend all of them and will probably order mostly the same next time, itwas all just heavenly. Do not skip the plum sake, it's incredible. Between 4 people we spent at least $300 not including tip,but we really pigged out. It's somewhat pricey but you don't have to break the bank if you don't go nuts. Really unique rolls with fresh and tasty ingredients. I ordered take out but when I picked up my food the restaurant was pretty... busy on a Tuesday evening! If you're craving sushi around Kalispell this is the place to go! Read more

I was genuinely surprised at how good the sushi was here, both rolls and nigiri. The drinks were decent, and the atmosphere was... a little lacking, but still felt busy and fun. The sushi bar was also a decent bit bigger than I've seen in other places, whichis a nice sight to see imo. Read more
The freshness of the fish and the servers make this a place to come back to. Stunning food! I would have give them 5 stars, but... the lack of honor behind the bar was astounding! I I have eaten sushi on 5 continents and I have never seen the staff eat behindthe sushi bar in front of customers!! I will go back but I will never sit at the bar again!! Read more
Excellent sushi! Relaxed staff and an easy environment to unwind and enjoy fresh food. Although if you don't have reservations,... you will be forced to choose a spot at the bar or not be seated at the empty tables. Reservations highly recommended if youcannot sit at a high bar. Read more
Shocking to find sushi this good in Montana. Rivals some of the best we've had in CA, HI, etc. Would rate 5 stars but the rolls... are small for the price. A $20 roll was fairly small and would be $15 at most higher end CA sushi establishments. Still GREATfish. Read more
