Stumbled into this place a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely loved it. Ordered the Sakana bowl with a drink as take out. Did not... disappoint. Being new to the area and an avid poke fan, I decided to try Maui. I made a bowl online with various proteins (spicy salmon,... spicy tuna, octopus salad.) I picked up my order and anxiously brought it to my car to try. To my utter shock and horror, I didnot receive fresh sushi grade meat. Rather, I was knowingly served mush. Literally mush. I havnt been yet and decided to read the reviews. The owners responses to disappointed customers is interesting. Responding in... almost a rude way. A ?don?t tell me how to run my shop? type of way. That doesn?t work with businesses. I work at McDonald?s andStarbucks and I understand customers can be rude but there?s a reason the ?customers always right? approach keeps them comingback. For example, Starbucks is banging in business and I wonder why.
