My experience at Brick and Brine was absolutely fantastic. My family organized a reservation for my birthday, and the staff... greeted me with a personalized menu that said happy birthday! We started off with a bottle of pinot grigio which was chilled toperfection. For appetizers we got crab cakes which are quite possibly the best crab cakes I have ever had. The sauce served withit was addicting! For my main I got the seafood pasta which included salmon, shrimp, and mussels. The flavors were so welllayered and refined. The ambiance was overall very classy, chic, and relaxing for a great birthday celebration. This is one ofthe best restaurants in Kalamazoo! Read more

It was my first time dining here. It was a great experience! Our server was fantastic, the atmosphere was great and the food... was phenomenal. I had made reservations for my friend and I and we had a nice table away from things but we could see a lot ofthe restaurant. The server was very helpful with our making decisions on what to order. The feta starter was delicious! Thesalmon as well. And we had the server surprise us with a choice of two desserts. He chose the baked Alaska and it was deliciousas well. It was my first time having it and it didn\'t disappoint. I would highly recommend this place and can\'t wait toreturn. I also appreciate them validating your parking. Wonderful experience! Overall the experience was a good one. Went to celebrate my birthday, wife made reservations so we didn\'t have to wait to be... seated. I like the fact that they personalized the menu with my name on it. The birthday aspect of it was low key which Iappreciated as I don\'t usually like being the center of attention. I liked the fact that the staff all signed it also. As forthe food and service. Service was good i must say. I do wish I had known that they had complementary bread before I ordered thefeta appetizer which included pita bread, otherwise I would have tried another appetizer l. With that being said we did enjoythe appetizer. We both ordered the fried chicken dish which was good overall, I wish it had a little more seasoning on it,however the honey and hot sauce that it came with added an awesome touch to the flavoring. It was well worth the price, we bothended up taking some of it home as the portion sizes were alot. The texture of the fries I wish were a lot more crispier as theywere not as firm as we would have liked. I could always ask for more seasoning, as when cooking it is better to under seasonrather than over season. Overall I would say we would definitely be back to try another dish on the menu. The atmosphere of theplace was amazing. We made reservations early so it was not crowded which was a plus. Will bring my mother in law to experienceit when she comes to visit. Read more

The atmosphere is very nice. We didn?t have a reservation and had to wait 20 minutes for a table on a Thursday evening which... wasn?t along wait. The servers are excellent. We had the fried chicken dinner for two which came with a bottle of champagne(nice touch). The appetizers and the main course was delicious! Read more
