Their fish is not of the best quality but what makes it even worse is their customer service. One time I went there (I?m a... local Hawaiian guy), the cashier told me to wait outside after I placed my order and normally, I would have been okay with that.However, a customer came in after me who was a Caucasian female who was with her two children, and I watched her order and thenI saw that the cashier did not tell her to wait outside for her order, but me and my two children had to. She patiently waitedinside the comfortable air conditioned restaurant while my children and I waited outside in the blazing heat. Is it because I?mHawaiian? What finally made me post a review is what happened tonight. I ordered a bunch of stuff and then when I got the total,I took out the necessary amount of money but called my son to have him count it out for the lady (he?s 9 years old). The totalwas $47.03 so my son gave her $48.00. She took the money, grabbed the change from the register, then looked at my son andwithout anyone telling her to do so, she put the change in her tip jar. My intention was to give my son the change for a rewardfor counting out the right amount of money but she decided for herself to keep the money. When I asked for the change for my sonI received attitude like I was supposed to give her that tip. She felt entitled to that tip. I will never go back to Ninja Sushiin Kailua again! Read more

On a scale of 1 to 10, this is just a 3. Not very fresh. In addition we ordered a Hamachi, and got a different type if fish.
I know quick sushi isn't meant to be amazing buy this is terrible. Gave this place a second chance as I was disappointed the... first time... it was even worse the second time. I had to throw away the salmon, it smelled foul and I couldn't eat it. Read more
Told me I ordered something different than what i said. So instead of just remaking it made me pay 2 times. So i had to pay for... something i didnt even order. Extremely rude and she ignored me. Didnt offer a solution. Never coming back and making sure noneof my friends come back either. Read more
The sushi rolls are huge. Had to cut them in half to fit into my mouth. It was good though. You have to ask for any side items... otherwise they are not included; such as Wasabi, ginger, soy sauce, etc. 7 sushi rolls cost $60.00. Read more
Small local place. It would have been much better if the tables were cleaned a little and the service was more welcoming. We... actually have been there few times before we started to look for another sushi place. We like giving restaurants few chances butwe run into the same problems very time we are there. Cleanliness and missing items we ordered... Food was not to bad. Update:during covid lots of places were closed but ninja stayed open. Take out quality seemed better than when we sat down to eat. Ninja sushi is great, this location was pretty spot on. Our favorite is the superman maki. The spicy ahi was a bit... disappointing, it was like they chopped it up a bit too much. Overall the food is good and the service is quick and friendly. Read more
