I love Ululanis. When we are in Maui, we would stop by every couple of days. However, the prices at this location are... ridiculous! Add to that the difficulty of finding a place to park. I was dissappointed. We ordered 3 with toppings and it waspushing close to $40. Good thing I found another awesome shave ice stop in Kings marketplace in Waikaloa. Read more

Gave 4 stars because we got attitude from one of the workers on duty, but everything else was great. You get a lot even for the... keiki size. It was too much (for me) so next time I'll probably share with my daughter. Party in your mouth was recommended tome by my cousin so I tried that. It was pretty darn good. Added snow cap & li hing mui which probably made it taste that muchmore yummy. You can also get the shave ice with alcohol now so my fiancé got one of those. Ice is really shaved down nicely andsoft which I like. Ask them to validate your parking to get free parking at the hotel. Good for up to 3 hours I believe. Read more

We came here yesterday after a hot day on the beach and after trying to find the best shave ice in Kona. I was immediately... amazed by ask the options they had! When I asked the staff member a question, she answered rudely and seemed to just want usout. My husband ordered the coconut and Lechee with condensed milk and had a hard time finishing it. A really great shave ice place. The location is a bit weird, go to the ABC Store by the Courtyard by Marriott then go around the... left corner, and it's on the side by the beach. There are many very good flavors and they put plenty of syrup on the shave ice,I'd recommend the passion fruit. The ice is super soft and fine. If you are in Kona I'd 100% recommend stopping here. There were lots of people when we got there, but their service was really fast and they were nice. Definitely recommend getting... it with ice cream and the snow cap. I can't get enough. They have the best ice cream, great shave ice flavors, and quality toppings. The people are really nice too,... and offer more syrup if you want more as you eat. They offer a kamaaina discount and $1 off if you give your room key. The iceis fine like powdery snow. There is a walk-up window outside, or you can come into the shop where they have tables with holescut into them for you to insert your shave ice. There are 3 sizes and they are not small. Like all shave ice, it takes a whileto make. There are about 3 people working at a time, so if you have more than 3 orders, be prepared to wait.
