Garlic shrimp and salad was really good. Could've been a five star if the server would've let me order dine in. She didn't want... to seat me because I was eating alone. She said I could only get take out. A guy cleaned up a table and asked me if I'm diningin while I was waiting on my food. He changed my order to dine in. Read more

I really wanted to like this place, but the food itself was okay. Filling enough for when you just need food after a long plane... ride. The rib bones could have been more tender as they were a little difficult to eat, and I didn't care for the Tabascodrizzled on the kimchi fried rice. I was hoping for more flavors. We love it here! We come back here every time we are on island which at least 4 times a year. The owners who run the restaurant... take wonderful pride in their culinary creations and it shows. Love TK's. Been eating here since day one. Everything is delicious. Excellent portions and reasonable prices. Just as a... comparison our bill at a historic famous house of pancakes in Hilo for breakfast was the same as lunch at TK's. Mind blowingconsidering the quality and quantity of food. If your kids don't eat Veggies, then introduce them to the tempura fried greenbeans. We have friends' kids that ask to go to TK just for the green beans. So ONO, broke da mouth. Read more
