Oooh what a great find for bfast. And, I suspect for lunch too. If you think some of the bfast offerings sound odd, like musili... with milk AND orange juice, don?t worry it tastes great. And they serve delicious coffee, not just tea. They use local growncoffee for pour over, and imported coffee for espresso. The local coffee is best for pour over and not espresso. Read more
The new owners have made a good place great. Not sure how describe the place being better besides higher quality more attention... to service and overall quality of atmosphere but very happy with end result. Had intended to make purchase to go but wascompelled to stay and enjoy. & enjoy I did. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and the foods and drinks were great! The service was very average in my opinion, in that... no matter how excited we were, the workers never seemed to show any desire or enjoyment of service. In 3 visits within a week,I don't recall a smile, a thank you, or any other indication of appreciation. Definitely a cozy place, food is even good but half of the waitstaff is jaded. Feels like they?ve been in the food industry too... long. Maybe it?s time to move on ladies. Rare french-style cafe on the island. The espresso is better than average on the island (which is a VERY low bar). The... Portuguese Tart was well made - impressively done. Chocolate cake is well made, but could have more of a rich chocolateflavor. The only place on the island I saw proper croissants. Regular and almond available. They looked great. Prices here arereasonable for the quality. If you're staying walking distance or have a vehicle I'd stop trying other cafes and just come herefor your daily coffee, unless you need wifi. They open really early. Pictured is the Portuguese Tart, Chocolate Cake, anddouble shot espresso. Tip: there's no wifi. Also, check their display case for 50% off baked goods.
