It is a relatively small restaurant, but the food was very good. The fresh Spring rolls were generous in size and quite... filling. My pho was tasty with lots of beef, soft tendon and tripe, and I took about half of it home for breakfast the nextmorning. I would have liked a little more hoisen and hot sauce, but I assume that the bottles have been removed from the tablesdue to Covid protocols. Read more

In Kona, it is a challenge to find good Asian restaurant, especially noodle place. Vietnam rice noodle is one of my favorite... Asian food, but it is still not easy to find a good Vietnam noodle restaurant in Kona. However, if you compromise with thecontext of Kona, then you would find a reasonable Asian restaurant in Kona. This Pho Kim Anh is one of the place. The price isreasonable and the taste is fine with me. Oh, I am not a picky person but I just have some appetite for Asian food. Anyway, ifyou look for some Vietnam restaurant in Kona, I could recommend you this Pho Kim Anh. Read more

We had a quick lunch here. The food is fantastic and served very quickly. Very good price, I had a grill pork with rice for... $14. the port is super juicy, I love it! My boyfriend had a pho(no.6) for $14. The ice coffee is also very good. The waitresswas saying Cantonese, I guess they were from Hong Kong, the coffee is very Hong Kong style LOL. Read more

T’was raining in Kona and weather like this need something warm and comforting to eat. Pho to the rescue and the nearest one... we are in is Pho Kim Anh. Ordered Pho Tai, Nam Gan and t’was so good! The broth is savory sweet and the veggies on it addcontrast to its texture. My bowl of pho compliments well and I am so happy after it. Customer service is okay. Limited capacityto dine inside and t’was a pretty clean eatery. Highly recommended! Read more

Wow, what a gem! They welcomed our large family without question and they provided the best service. Our children (ages 6-13)... loved everything they ordered. The food came out quickly and was perfect. And you will not believe the prices, so much food forthe right price. So glad we found this spot. We will be back. Read more

Great food, large portions, friendly service! From personal experience growing up in Vietnam, this food is spot on and gives it... in the generous Hawaiian-portion size ;) Edit: the prices have slightly increased, see photos for the menu! Read more

Was very excited that a new Vietnamese restaurant opened up on the Big Island. We drove from Hilo to Kona (1.5 hours drive) to... eat at this place with high hopes that it will be delicious. We are true Vietnamese couple and know how real Pho taste like aswe have tried many different places. Looking at their menu when advertised online, it looked very delicious and promising. So wedecided to give it a try and take a day off from school. Critiquing their pho: 1) I understand that it is COVID season, butcharging $12.75 for a bowl of Pho Dac Biet #7 which is what I had was kinda pricy for the amount given. 2) The Pho Broth, thetaste was a-ok but not the best I've had. However, after finished eating and driving back home to Hilo, we both had sore throat, felt tired and drank lots of water and knew right away that there was possible a lot of MSG (Mono Sodium Glutamate) used in thebroth. 3) The vegetable given was very frugal as you can see in the picture. When I eat my pho, I like to have more beansproutsand basil. The amount given was not enough to suffice my needs. Overall, we were disappointed in the quality being served as anew place that just opened up. We hope over a period of time their quality can improve. We understand that it was Grand OpeningWeek (Day 2), however, usually the first impression will encourage customers to come back. Read more
