Casual place with great food. Brisket bowl with Asian Mac slaw was fantastic. My wife got bbq garlic shrimp over rice and it... was extremely flavorful. Good BBQ but definitely have had better. The pulled pork was very good, especially with the spicy sauce whereas the brisket was... fairly dry. The service was excellent, but it took almost 15 minutes to receive my order when there was only a party of threeahead of me. The portion size was fairly average, so you probably have to order a plate per person. Read more
Brisket, pulled pork and ribs were well executed. My son was very satisfied with his BBQ shrimp bowl and my daughter, a 10yo Mac... and cheese connoisseur, said it was among the best she'd had. Mac&cheese tasted fine to me but I lack her refined palette forsuch distinctions. The macadamia nut slaw was delicious and the cornbread muffins got good reviews from my son. The service whenwe went was the brusque efficient type of a busy place that's probably understaffed. Not unfriendly though. When we left itseemed to have slowed some and it felt more relaxed.
