I found this place on google, while looking for a place to try some actual Hawaiian food on the cheap. I ordered the Kailua pork... and cabbage plate and Spam musubi, my husband got the mix bbq plate, my son got a chili dog combo, and my daughter got acheeseburger and fries (not pictured). Upon first inspection my meal seemed to have almost no pork, but after a bit of differ Ifound a lot under the cabbage, it was great with a bit of hot sauce. The macaroni salad was tasty, my kids loved it. My son andI both enjoyed the spam musubi, have nothing to compare it to but I would eat it again. My husband loved the mixed bbq, he saidall three meats were full of flavour, and the portion was very generous. My son was a bit disappointed that the chili dog was ahotdog floating in chili, he thought it would be on a bun, but the flavour was there and he did like it. My daughter enjoyed hercheeseburger and fries, it wasn?t too dry like some burgers you find in these hole in the wall type places. Best place hands down for breakfast in Kona!!! Especially if you have a big group it was the only place I paid under $100 for... breakfast and not only was the price right the food was the best! Delicious fried seasoning shrimps. Great customer service, the kitchen makes food very quickly.
This little shop was fantastic! I am so glad we did not pass it up. Great breakfast. A bed of sticky rice, 2 eggs perfectly... cooked, 2 slices of Spam, 3 strips of bacon, and 2 coffees and under $10! Great customer service, remembers customers that areusually there and treats them like family. It is cooked to order but faster than McD's! Read more
Good food. Great price, $6 for 2 eggs, meat choice plus white rice, brown rice, or toast! Seating inside and out.
Quick and delicious. Korean Chicken and BBQ Pork was very tasty $11.95. Large Hawaiian Style portions. You can split one entree.... Tiny dining area but tables are outside. Someone was actively cleaning the tables. Read more
Fast food style bbq, different meats: chicken, rib, fried fish, pork. We ordered family dinner with fries, macaroni, rice,... cabbage. Big portions, friendly service. There are some seatings inside the restaurant. You can also enjoy fresh air, beautifulsunset in the outside courtyard. Read more
