We came here twice in a row for ahi poke during our stay in the Kilua-Kona region. Amazing Ahi Poke fresh off the sea. The fish... was freshly sliced and diced right in front of us. We got a pound of poke and it was more than enough to share between 2 people.If you want rice with it, you can get a large bowl of rice for less than $2 from the KTA super store across the street. Theowner Sawyer is super knowledgeable and takes a lot of pride in taking care of his fish. We?ve tried other poke places aroundthe island and this is truly the best in terms of quality of fish and freshness. Such a hidden gem tucked away in the corner. Read more
I almost didn't find this place today and was so happy I finally saw it! We came here on our trip last year and they were so... helpful in picking out fish for our group dinner. So we came again this year, and bought fish from the guy who actually fishedit, and it was delicious! Freshest fish on the island sold by the actual people who caught it. They offer great service, great advice, and will often cut... the fish fresh while we wait. And they have great cooking recommendations. I don't know why you would go anywhere else on theisland to buy fish. Read more

The employee behind the clean and tidy fish counter was very friendly and welcoming. He made pleasant conversation with us while... he also made fresh shoyu poke which we bought and ate just minutes later, definitely the freshest and freshest-tasting poke I?veever had. It made me feel silly for paying more for much, much lower quality stuff in the lower 48. Read more
