Amazing service, my family and I went around 230 and was sat immediately. Some of the food took longer to come out than the... Hilo one, but this Kona one is bigger than the Hilo side one. The hot dog that we unfortunately didnt get a photo of was cold orvery little warm but tasted great. After we were done we got dessert, the ice cream was delicious! definitely something to getif they arent sold out. Our meal for three (includes the tip) was about $81. Read more
An interesting concept, it's nice that you can just order from a screen and have it delivered to your table with a little... train. Drinks are very expensive compared to other restaurants and the dessert prices are a little high for what you get. Allin all the food is good but small portions. We came here as a first stop after landing in Hawaii. We ordered a few sushi rolls and they were good! Portions were smaller,... but the price was good, and the experience was unique. The food came out on a conveyer, which was cool. Down side was we satthere for an extended time after we were done waiting for somebody to give us a bill. After about 15 minutes, we went to theregister and they sent us back to the table, where we waited another 5 minutes or so to be billed. They weren't very busy, so Ithought it was a bit excessive of a wait, but all in all, good experience and I would return again. Read more
This place is great. Just look at that stack of plates. I always get the monthly specials. It's always fresh and so fast. It's... fun to watch the sushi shoot to your table on a lil plane. I like the selection here vs other places in town. It's really agreat place for family. Small sizes so you don't have to only order a couple things. Try it all!!! Read more
First of all, I have to say that I am a huge fan of sushi. When I traveled to Japan several times, I always visited several... different sushi restaurants including conveyor-belt sushi, such as Kura sushi and Sushiro. I really loved them since the tasteand price is very satisfied. After the pandemic happened, I was not able to visit Japan because their boarder is closed to atraveler. When I missed a sushi restaurant, particularly a conveyor-belt sushi restaurant, I visited Kenki sushi. However, ifyou expected the taste and atmosphere you experienced from Japan, you definitely would regret. The price is a Hawaiian price,and you may not be able to enjoy the sushi without concerning the price. It is just fair to visit this restaurant if you reallymiss a Japanese conveyor-belt sushi restaurant. Other than that, it might be challenging for me to enjoy the sushi from thisrestaurant without concerning the price. They also sell a bento (Lunch box), and it might be more affordable and less burden forthe one who want to eat sushi with reasonable price. The taste of sushi is just okay. Decent prices, easy to order, cool conveyer belt system for sushi, quick service, and surprisingly large menu that will have... something for everyone. Sushi is decent quality - not TOP level, but great value for the price. Can only order 4 items at atime, which seems annoying at first but actually works perfectly.
