Wow! The food here is AMAZING! We were told by some friends who lived in California that the food here was just as good as Cali.... Our friend who is Mexican said this is as good as food back home! After a busy day at Rapids Water Park we visited this really authentic mexican place. I love my real mexican food and have been... so sad with some experiences that my hopes were down. We ordered Coronas (my friend ????) and i ordered a Modelo (this IS beer)that came along with chips and salsa. Really good to be honest. We got Tacos de Carnitas and he had Chile Relleno and Sopes deCarne. The side for my plate was ???????? the rice and pinto beans omg, the beans reminded me of my mom's and the rice????????????????. The tacos were good, the carnitas maybe needed more salt but good taste. Chile Relleno as i thought would'vebeen spicy but was amazing, cheese, rice, egg and chile ???? the best!!! The queso fresco they had???????? I love arepas (as imvenezuelan) but the sopes are the next best thing after tacos and arepas!!! Sooo crunchy and flavory ????????. Like the time here, I was in the area and I saw the restaurant and I said why no, they have a nice place inside, it does really... look like a Mexican place, as soon as enter they new I was new I guess, they didn?t say anything only looking at me, they wepolite, ask me if I want something to drink as soon as I sat, I asked for the Molcajete with two meats, so delicious $20 I thinkit is worth it and I got full, I just needed to get a second order of tortillas. It's kind of hidden but a brightly decorated surprise! I tried vegetarian sopes. They were delicious! The sopes were hot and... crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The veggie toppings were fresh and had a nice variety. The price was reasonabletoo. I look forward to visiting again. Read more
