My wife and I enjoy visiting Hurricane every once in a while. Tonight it was just soup and salad. She had clam chowder and I... had the chili. Both were very good. We also both had a Caesar salad and those were good as well. Also, the bread and oliveoil they bring out is quite tasty. We will be back again. Read more

This Greek salad literally had me moaning with every bite! The flavors are so authentic! The slices of cucumber & tomato were... beyond generous. And the little Greek Dip on the side was mouth watering. Loved the stuffed grape leaves! Yes I?ll be back! Read more

I love this restaurant! It?s easygoing and casual, but not lacking in service or taste. Our server Tania was wonderful and made... the whole experience enjoyable, and made sure we were informed about our food choices. The food itself was fantastic, delicious, and well done, and it?s consistent. The experience is filled with locals in a busy restaurant, with definitely a peak time atlunch. They have a variety of options, including vegetarian meals, and they?re actually good and not just a simple salad. Thefood is a pleasant surprise because the environment feels so casual, you?re not expecting such high class food. The falafel wasdelicious and unique. It isn?t traditional deep fried falafel? it?s a healthier version that doesn?t taste healthy? it tastesscrumptious. The portion sizes are great and you get a solid bang for your buck. I come here every time I go to the beach! Read more

Good food, cute little diner with indoor and outdoor seating. I had biscuits and gravy and classic Belgium waffles. Yummy! Great... friendly staff too and 3 minute drive from Juno Beach. Recommend! Read more

Delicious lunch after a morning at the beach nearby. Lots of delicious and healthy options that have creative flare. We left... feeling happy, filled, and cared for. They have several awards on the walls and it was clear to see why. Nothing wasparticularly mind-blowing, but the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff stood out. I highly recommend the shrimptacos and pecan crusted chicken salad. Read more

It's taken me two months to write this review of the Hurricane Café, mostly because I'm so conflicted in what to say. Overall,... I've had largely positive experiences here, but my main dish was so poorly prepared after the last visit that I haven't visitedsince. Ugh, what to say? Overall, the last experience was fine. We ate outside and our server was a friendly, attentive younggentleman. Our small party of three started with a flatbread pizza. It was really quite tasty. My main course, however, was thepits - something I never expected from this place where past dishes have been quite delicious and reliable. At therecommendation of our server, I got the large cut of the Prime Rib. It was a big mistake. I don't really know where to beginbut, and as you can see in the attached pic, it was grey. Grey. Given the look and overall texture, it appeared that the cutwas steamed or warmed in a covered pan with it's cooking liquid. Any tasty crust that it had when it was roasted was turned torubber in the reheating and it was fiercely overcooked and imperceptibly larger than the supposed smaller portion ordered by myone dining partner. And the roast was obviously never properly trimmed before cooking either as the tail had a HUGE piece offat attached. Normally, I'm all about the fat on a piece of properly prepared meat as it adds to the flavor and richness, butbeing so soggy, the fat was just greasy and disappointing. I'll never order a daily special if I ever return. Also, as a fewother commentors have mentioned, there were flies... Lots of them! Especially after our main courses of beef and fisharrived. Look, I get it, it's the tropics and the outdoor seating overlooks an asphalt parking lot. It's hot and the local bugswant their share, too. It was just too overwhelming at some point that I needed to throw my napkin over my plate so I could stopswatting the flies away. Even a visit from a local curly-tailed lizard didn't help. Perhaps it is worth looking Read more
