Best in Juneau. Impressive culinary skills and presentation for a city of 30,000. Perfect ambience for a special night out, with... dim lights and dark cozy colors. Bread plate was appetizing with kalamata olive bread. Prosciutto-wrapped scallops weredelicious, and more delicate than bacon-wrapped. Butcher's cut (hangar steak) was delicious, tender, and nicely seasoned, andaccompanied by perfect jalapeno mashed potatoes. Our eating experience here was world-class. I'm pretty sure we were silent most of the meal as we enjoyed every single bite.... Beware! The bread has olives in it, which I loved, but my companion did not. It's okay, that just means more for me! Also, besure to verify whether you're getting a lunch or dinner menu. We were accidentally given the dinner menu at lunch, and we hadour heart set on a few things not on the lunch menu, we ended up having to regroup to reorder. Great atmosphere, the new owner has done a great job with food quality and service. Also they have great staff, our server... Karina was so nice and went above and beyond making food come fast with drinks making us feel at home, the best! Will be back inthe future on our next visit to Juneau. Read more
