Their beers aren't spectacular, but they aren't bad either... Just not memorable. What was memorable was sitting down at the bar... and having to wait 10 minutes to get my beer order. The bartender had a lake excuse of thinking I was with another party eventhough I clearly sat down at the bar. Since Alaskan brewing has their beers available in cans, I am suggest skipping this placeand trying another brewery while you're here Read more
My friend and I were so excited to try a new place and especially one so beautiful. Unfortunately the excitement ended with the... design. Our waitress asked for my orders, got mine and then left before without even looking at my friend. She did the same whenI asked for a container. The food was mediocre, but that?s especially because the fish was cold, but the corn salad? it wasFROZEN. Completely frozen corn. Come for a beer, but don?t waste your time on the food. 3 & 1/2 * Howie was our server and he was delightful. My husband ordered the pork belly, I had the pretzels and cheese dip.... The pork belly left a lot to be desired, not only was it a small portion but there was a lot of inedible fat. The pretzels andcheese dip were okay, nothing outstanding. The highlight was their spruce tip beer = amazing. Unfortunately they do not sell ithere.... But you can venture on down the street to Percy's liquor store and meet the beguiling Billy Beaver.
