My husband hired Chef Matou for a late personal chef Valentine's dinner, she came over and cooked for us and taught us about... Haitian food from beginning to end! We had enough food for at least 20 meals at the end! We had pork, chicken, beer salad, blackrice, eggplant, and a dessert and all of them were amazing! The chicken was so tender and flavorful! We would definitely hireher again and try other dishes and share with friends, very memorable experience! Read more

Had the sampler platter, it was very good. The fried pork is proper pork belly, the wings were fresh, and the vinegar cole slaw... was a nice side to cut through the fatty flavor of the meats. The plantains were a nice addition to the meal. Owner is aveteran, and very nice. Will be trying the other dishes in the future. Read more

I tried the truck for the first time, never before having Haitian food and I will definitely go back! The sampler had soooo many... tasty foods. All three of the meats were cooked perfectly and melted in my mouth. The beat salad was delicious and the plantainswere equally as good! If you haven?t tried Chez Matou yet, you?re missing out! Always fresh food and a bit of a culture lesson each time we stop?and yes, we HAVE TO stop anytime we see her food truck in... town. So much heart is put into her dishes. If you haven?t tried her fried plantains, you ain?t living!!! I?d give this lady mywhole paycheck if I could. Praying for a brick and mortar so we can enjoy it the food more often. Love and respect, JC lovesyou!!!! Read more
