Really nice spot for small and large groups. They have tons of seating indoor and outdoor, have QR-code online ordering in... addition to traditional, and quite a large menu. The pizzas and wings are pretty good, though I most enjoyed the wedge salad,cheese bread, and brisket. They have tons of beer on tap too. Prices aren?t insane. Excellent pork ribs bbq! Excellent brisket sandwich! Bbq rub is gluten free. When meat comes out, it looks burnt but it IS... NOT. Very tasty. All outdoor seating and inside tables to the right of the main building are all dog friendly!! My reason whyonly 4 stars???? You have to share your food with the flies and meat eating bees. I only wanted to take a 1/2 star away but notallowed. Next time, we'll be bringing our own citronella candles. Maybe that will keep the pests away. Great place. Greatservice. Great food. Read more
The brisket was lukewarm but a good meal. The service, although no rush, was medium. The guy behind the bar seemed more... interested in taking the order than to give a smile a make me feel welcome. I felt some how being in the way. They seem to bemore interested in making money than to offer a nice time for their patrons. Beer is good, nothing to complain there. Would haveincreased 0.5 stars since the beer isn't bad at all. Maybe I am a bit harsh here but it is the feeling I currently am leftwith. I wish that I chose any other restaurant in the town. Visiting Julian CA. With friends. Plenty of parking in rear. I was surprised by the many areas our party could spread out in,... outside under trees and two inside dining areas. Mostly comfort foods, salads, sandwiches, bbq, pizza, etc. Amazing beers andciders on tap. Wines available also. Shopping in historic Julian only a minute walk away. Pretty busy after the homecoming parade this weekend but after standing in line for 20 minutes, it didn't take long to get our... food. The staff were very friendly, had a great attitude and super-helpful in making sure tables were cleared and customers weretaken care of.
