Food incredible, service horrific. Ordered drinks and food came 1st. When we went to counter to ask almost got an eye roll. ... Lady in glasses that takes orders is clueless and slow as molasses. Have it 4 tries, but she (service) is the absolute worse. Feel bad because the cooks are awesome. If you don?t mind having your 1st beer or pop as dessert. She needs to be fired. Aweful person. Favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at whenever we come to joliet. The servers are great whenever we go, bathrooms and tables are... clean. My go to are the hurrache and their special the molcajete which is huge is good for arleast 2. Read more
Ordered delivery from here last night, The Joliet location. The food was horrible!!! Which we were surprised because had pretty... decent reviews & my boyfriend has eaten here, said it was pretty good. Well after we received our order and opened ourcontainers. We were shocked to see every single piece of Avocado on our tacos had sections of black, yes black! I call to letthem know because they charge $1.50 per order. Gentleman asks would you like to come pick some up. Seriously? His attitude washe didn't care. I then told him I would leave a review with the pictures I took. Again really didn't seem like he cared. Then Iget a call back, from a young lady, who tells me I should take it up with the delivery service, our food sat under their lampsfor an hour before it was picked up to be delivered. I was in disbelief, our food sat for an hour and you still sent itout? I've worked in the restaurant business for may years, and that right there is beyond negligent. You are putting yourcustomers at risk allowing food to go out after sitting for an hour, food starts to die and can start forming bacteria after20mins, and can double after 40mins. Knowing this and having had to follow FDA guidelines I knew we needed to toss the foodimmediately! What little we did taste before that call, Not sure how you can mess up tacos but the meat tasted like it had beenmicrowaved, Avocado slices had black, not good at all, you can not eat an Avocado that looks like that, it's rotten. The friesfor the kids where hard, so hard, like stale. My 5 year old asked, why are these so hard? So I grabbed one fry to try and theywere hard. Like they sat out all day hard. I told both to stop eating them. My poor kids couldn't even eat their food. I'm notgoing to risk the health of my family. This restaurant should be ashamed!!!! We will NEVER eat here again. Absolutely 5 star worthy! We are from out of town and looked through all the Mexican restaurants online (because tacos &... burritos are life). Do your fat kid soul a favor and order the barbacoa chimichanga! The chicken chimichanga was also amazing,but their barbacoa was an 11 out of 10! It takes them a minute to get the food out, but it?s worth the wait for real quality. Read more
Have tried to give this place a chance but the lady at the counter who says she?s the manager is very rude! Ruins my appetite... every-time! The food is adequate but her customer service is terrible! We just got into a confrontation about a refill that Ipaid for! She specifically singles me out every time I come but she is so nice to other customers!
