My second patronage of Pyramid's Friday fish fry. This time, I got the regular fish sandwich which I previous posted was a... slightly smaller bun and a single long breaded filet. One again, I enjoyed a good fish sandwich and an added bonus of homemadecookies (chocolate chip and a banana nut concoction that tasted like the same-named muffin) that one employee was offering tothose waiting to pick up their fish. Once again I arrived in the last half-hour of their service and ordered when I got there. I tried to order via phone 20 minutes earlier but couldn't ring through. I'm thinking I like showing up that late. Instead ofbeing a bit disgruntled by the near-closing time order, owner Jimmie-George (lol, he'll know) and his wife were much morepleasant that many restauranteurs I've known...and a lot more jovial than I am at the end of the work day. I love a good fishsandwich but I am going to be trying Pyramid's other Friday seafood dinners because if they do such a good job with thesandwich, I am eager to check out their dinners. Read more
If I could give this establishment a 0, I would. We went to get a fish dinner for Lent, and as soon as we entered I was asked... about applying. There is not enough staff to wait tables, and it?s no wonder. After kindly declining the application offer, theowner/manager asked me if I was in an interracial relationship. Not only is this a very personal and inappropriate question toask a customer, it was prejudice and ignorant against many people in the area as well. I responded that I was not, veryuncomfortable at this point, and he told me good because he doesn?t hire people of color. He kept going on about the subject,completely disregarding his ignorance. I refuse to support a business that is so prejudice and extremely disrespectful,especially so outright to the community that supports them. I will never be back to this establishment, and I hope that othersread this and will not support them either. Our community deserves better, especially those who are under represented. Read more
Extremely disappointed! Internet listing on there website said NOTHING about take out only. After meeting up with friends and... driving 40 minutes to enjoy there Friday fish dinner we were told no inside service. I do appreciate your responding to mypost, and understand everything you are saying. For that I have revised my rating and overall review. Although you may want todo more to take down OR update your webpage, it still comes up with the information discussed in the earlier review. I will makea attempt to vist your place in the future. Awesome fish sandwich. One you gotta try! Ordered by phone and it was ready exactly when they said it would be.
We had our wedding here and dinners. We would whole heartedly recommend them for a night of good food and especially a large... event. Amazing staff and fantastic food! All around perfect! Read more
I've eaten here and I just had my wedding here. Honestly, I don't think anyone shpuld have their wedding anywhere else but here.... You can't beat the price, food, or service. There's nothing negative to say. The fish here is amazing. Do yourself a favor andstop in for a fish dinner. If you are thinking about having your wedding here or know someone who is, recommend this place tothem. Michelle is a wonderful person to work with. Read more
My husband picked up dinner on fish fry Friday our first time eating here as we are new to town. Hands down the best fish we... have ever had and we are native Floridians! He spoke about how beautiful the venue was and how friendly and awesome the familyis there. I can't wait to eat in next week! This explains why this restarant has been around so long! Read more
Wasn?t impressed. The crab cakes were sour, the fish was over cooked, the Mac and cheese had a flavorless velveeta consistency... and it was first time ever eating here ugh. Save your money. Read more
