Reviews for Mandarin Noodle House in Johnston, IA
I was traveling with kids and we needed a dinner option that was not fast food. We came to the restaurant because we wanted... some ramen. We ordered orange chicken, spicy noodle soup and beef ramen. The food flavoring (spice and broth) was mild whichis not all a bad thing..it gives the customer a chance to season as needed. My son enjoyed the orange chicken. Great option ifyou're looking for quick service and plenty to choose from. Read more
Good food for a good price and extremely fast service for takeout. The potstickers and mussels were delicious and orange chicken... seems house made with fresh orange pieces in the sauce. Can tell the lady on the floor works really hard. Would definitelyreccomend Read more

[10/10] I would highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family. Loved the food, atmosphere and the service. Food... was very authentic and delicious. I have not seen other restaurants in the Midwest that can match the quality of food MandarinNoodle House provides. No doubt one of the best experiences I had in many years. I'm quite impressed! Wonderful food and service. Fined in there recently and they had great safety precautions in addition to a friendly staff. Food... was very fresh and fulfilling without being too greasy/heavy. Very happy with my experience and would recommend trying! Read more
Cozy, casual, relaxing atmosphere and a great mix of Korean, Chinese, and Japanese fare. Service is fast and on point as well.... The bento boxes are an awesome idea and by far my favorite menu offering. If you're looking for casual Asian dining, but youdon't want to be limited to just one type of cuisine, this is the place to go. Read more
Great food for a strip mall Chinese restaurant. Or is it a Chinese restaurant if they also have Korean and Japanese dishes on... the menu? I was starting to think that I no longer liked Chinese food. It turns out that I just wasn't finding good Chinesefood. The Chinese-American style seems so simple, you take a handful of ingredients and stir fry them up in one of severalsauces, yet everywhere I have tried recently has disappointed me. Until tonight. I order Kung Pao Chicken. This preparationlooked simpler than most, and it was amazing! The ingredients all seemed fresh and the quality of the ingredients shinedthrough. The chicken was recognizably chicken. The sauce was simple with just the right level of heat. Our other order was aRamen bowl. I enjoyed it as well, but preferred the rice dish. We started with a couple of egg rolls which were stuffed withfresh veggies and appeared to be made in house. The service was friendly, cheerful, and helpful, but was sporadic andforgetful. Hopefully the service will be more consistent on the next visit, because I am coming back to try some other dishes. Read more
My order was a vegetable shrimp. Overall it was good. Nice little place. Nice waitress. Good experience overall. Food was good... but I think I'd prefer a different dish next time. Read more
