I don't know if they mean "New York" style pizza or "Attitude of a Disgruntled New York Postal Worker" style pizza. Guy manning... the desk made us feel like we'd kicked a puppy for even walking in the building. Good pizza, not the best for dine-in. I'm a pizza guy. My creds: best pizza I've had is the incredible New Haven triumphant of... Frank Pepe's, Sally's, and Modern Apizza. Trying a new pizza joint in Johnson City every week since moving here. This is thefourth. This is second best so far. Quality ingredients and well made. Excellent overall taste with the sauce setting this pizzaapart. The weak link is the crust which is just OK. Also tried the bread sticks while waiting for my pie. They were decent butnothing to go out of the way for. I suspected that the crust might be a problem after the bread sticks. The dining experiencewas OK. Maybe half a dozen tables with two being two-person bar height tables. Not super attractive inside but clean. I arrivedduring the dinner time rush. One guy works in the kitchen and waits tables part of the time. Service was well-meaning butspotty. This didn't bother me as I understood it is mainly a take-out business. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here butwouldn't hesitate to stop here if I was in the area. I did enjoy the pizza. Read more

I got a calzone from Simms always heard good thing about them and it might have just been today but when I got my calzone the... bread was basically raw on the inside almost completely undercooked and when calling them to let them know I was left on holdfor 15 minutes and had to call back just to get a gentleman being completely rude to me coming off as defensive trying to makeit seem like I was lying and nothing was wrong Read more
Should of definitely got pizza that we heard good about! But we had wings and Phillies? the Phillies were good but had a... OVERWHELMING amount of mushrooms, there was more mushrooms then actual meat! Super unfortunate and the wings were very slimy/fatty and squishy. I?m not sure what causes that but I?ve never had wings that had that texture. Read more

November 2022-food was hot fresh and fast. Definitely the best pizza in Johnson city Tennessee. Sauce was fresh and bright red.... Crust and toppings were fresh. Stromboli was filled to the brim with toppings. Salad and none pizza options available. Beer soldby the bottle and on tap. Soda beverages available. Read more
