We specifically reserved a table on the porch in the warm corner. It was October 27th, around 6 pm. They had the plastic curtain... open, allowing cold, outside air in. Three of our party of five were in their 80?s. The air was chilling. We all had jackets on.We asked the server if she could close the plastic curtain. She said she had to ask the manager. After about 10 minutes, shecame back to say that the manager said no, she would not close the window. I was livid and asked for the manager. I was told shewas too busy. I then stated we would leave and never return. She said she would ask the other manager to come out. Another 15minutes or so went by and three staff people (no manager) came out and closed the window. It is a very poor way to run abusiness. They didn?t care about their customer?s comfort while dining. We requested the porch for the music because we like tosupport local musicians. This place needs some compassionate managers. We will probably never go back. We feel bad for themusicians. The behavior of the ?manager? was totally unacceptable. What is wrong with people anymore? Read more

We are visiting from out of town and just dropped in on a whim. The overall experience here is great. With the option to eat... either indoors or out the premise itself is particularly appealing. The menu offers far more than just pizza. Sandwiches andeven steak there is something for almost everyone. We opted for the pizza and it is of the Woodfired oven variety so it getsflash cooked at 800+ degrees. So if that is the kind of pizza you like you'll find it done perfectly here. Their pizzaselections are comprised of the standard fare plus some unique takes like the Black and Blue pizza my son and I got. Theportions on the salads are generous to say to the least and the greens were fresh and tasty. The staff were attentive andfriendly to a fault. All in all we loved our experience and will definitely come back when we pass through here again. Read more

This is the BEST wood fired pizza I have ever had! And, as an "old dude", I've had plenty over the years. From what I've heard... the owner actually imports the dough from Italy. You can't get much better than that. Bottom line? I absolutely LOVE this place. Also, the manager, Hannah, is awesome! ???????? Read more

To their credit, Rocks Wood Fired was open on Monday, Valentine's Day, with a preprinted Valentine's day menu with specials. It... was appetizing. The greeting was swift, the bar service was slow, and frankly there was a lot to be desired about the visit. Ithrow out romaine lettuce when the edges are brown. I definitely wouldn't serve it to guests. But the chicken alfredo pizza wasgood, and the drink was poured well. I think the place just needs to be managed a bit better. I couldn't believe our serverDillon came to the table with a fresh drink and walked away without the empty appetizer plate sitting on the edge. I think theentryway to the restaurant needs to be scoured because I noticed a sour smell on the way in. The place is okay, but just needsmore attention to detail. Read more
