The pork had some kind of black pepper rub ? Not sure but it didn't taste like it used to. It was on the spicy side to me and... disnt meld well with the pork. The twice baked potato was cold and VERRRRY very very very hard. The slaw was almost dry, asthere was hardly any 'juice'. It tasted great though just needed some more mayo. Sorry to give a bad review. The tea was greatthough tasted exactly the same 20 ywars ago. And the interior of the building looked awesome! Read more
First time here. Older woman who took our order was not friendly and seemed inconvenienced. The two younger gals were pretty... friendly. Quick service but the food was not good. We got the sampler platter. We took about two bites of everything then left.I'm really sorry for wasting so much food but it was so soggy and not tasty. Maybe just an off day? Read more
The food is great but we werent too happy with the service from the older woman that answers the phone and runs the front. She... was rude to me while ordering the food and she was also rude to my husband when I sent him in to pick up the food.. but besidesthat it was great for our first time ordering! Like coming here for BBQ. The BBQ sauces are tasty and the fixing with meals are pretty good. Also like that this is Veteran... owned so supporting them is a good thing to do. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. I also enjoy theconversation as I usually learn something that is interesting. Read more
We ate lunch here today and it was not enjoyable. The server was not friendly at all and the food was bad. The half rack of ribs... was super small and not good. The pulled pork was not pleasant tasting. The tatertots were very dry and burnt as well. While thefood and server were nothing to write home about, we did notice the building was very clean. We?re out-of-towers and thought we?d try some bbq. The lady who took our order was so rude! She must be a manager they way she... was speaking to others. She had dark hair and a pretty face but her attitude was very ugly! We?re southerners and didn?t expectthis in TN! The food was ok but the wait was long. They weren?t busy. My father and I waited 45 minutes for our food. The food was delicious but as a self employed person that wait was costly for... us. The nice host went back to the kitchen multiple times to remind the cook who seems quite absent minded. Read more
