Like the food, but they can't seem to get a simple take out order right at this location anymore. I always order the same thing... for pick up, 2 beef burritos with rice instead of beans as the side. 2 or 3 weeks ago, placed my order and I got 2 bean burritos(not beef) and beans instead of the rice I requested. I don't eat refried beans, so had to trash that meal. They did make itright a couple days later and Carlos did have the kitchen give extra rice as well. On to tonight, same order, combo #24 withrice instead of beans. I did get beef burritos, but no side of rice as requested. Tried calling 3x after I got home, but noanswer. Read more

Alright so, we went I. The afternoon around 5:00. We were seated almost immediately. They had a couple of different hosts which... nade it nice so that you were not standing there wondering when you night be able to enjoy some of there delicious food theyserve here. I ordered a meal that was steak strips and rice covered in a cheese sauce and I will honestly say that if you do notget to this place and try this meal then you are most definitely missing out on a piece of life that anyone that is not avegetarian would absolutely love. They also have vegetarian meals that you are able to choose from as well. Family atmosphereand exceptional service. This place is a must, for anybody whom enjoys the flavors of real authentic Mexican food. Read more
Food was good but the wait time after being seated was horrible. Over an hour. Watched three table (that I saw) order after us... and receive their food before us. Like other posts no apology or compensation of any type offered. Food was good but not thatgood. Won?t be back. Read more

All I can say is, that I miss it already! I went there 3 times during our 2 week stay in the city. Literally everything was... super tasty and I loved the Chili Colorado, which had some decent spice in it! Salsa and Nachos were als great and portions areby far big enough! I will be back! Read more
Amazing restraunt! Good food, ample portions, great service! Javier was out waiter, he's fantastic, so fun and helpful and... attentive!!! Always smiling and checking on our food, they were packed but he made sure to look after us and get us everythingwe need. El Food Lion (El Charolais) is my favorite Mexican restaurant in the Tri-Cities. Never get bad service or food. The menu has a... wide variety. The staff are always welcoming and positive. Prices are reasonable. And most importantly, the decorations, standup refrigerator stocked with weirdly-colorful drinks I'm scared to try, and the Spanish speaking TV broadcast (can at least readthe closed captioning) remind you that you aren't inside a chain restaurant (although they do have other locations).
