Staff is very rude, we pay $21 for ONE combo meal to share and asked for mayo on our sandwich and was told no or we'd have to... pay extra, asked for ketchup since their self-serve area was unkept and empty and was given 1 ketchup packet, and when I askedfor one extra plate since I was sharing I was told no, I then ask for some napkins since the dispenser was out and the employeetold me she'd go get some, I waited 20mins while I ate and she never came back out. Also our sandwich came with cheese and theybarely put any. These people act like these things are coming outta their own pockets. Read more

Worst Charley?s around. Staff is extremely rude and actually refuses to serve customers when they are open. Myself and a few... co-workers come to the mall to eat every Tuesday and very rarely can you get Charley?s because the staff would rather hide inthe back instead of do the job they get paid for. I love the food here but what's up with the employees. When we first walked up there was a sign saying sorry for the... inconvenience were closed for 20 minutes. So we go looking around we walk back someone was ordering we get in line then when weget to register she says I'm sorry we're gonna have to close another 10 min because I have to make a phone call there was 1other guy cooking with a confused look i said ok walked to restroom when I came out 2 min later there was people ordering andin line and now FIVE EMPLOYEES I just can't understand why they would show closed like that I thought the were short staffed orsomething where was everyone why did the keep closing it made ni since and this was around 8pm Read more

The owner is super kind and very helpful. The food was absolutely delicious and, as I told the owner today, this is the best... customer service I have had in a restaurant in a very long time! He went out of his way to make sure my family of 6 (with twotoddlers) was taken care of. It was very busy and full of customers and everyone was polite and working hard. I waited for my food for a very long time. My family was able to get food from three different places and consume that food... before I ever got my sandwich. The employees were too busy talking to acknowledge my presence, the only person they had to cookfor. The meat for my sub wasn't placed on the grill until about seven minutes after I paid. They were not short staffed, therewere about five to six employees behind the counter. Very disappointed, I used to love coming to Charley's in the Johnson CityMall. Read more
