We were there for a late lunch. It was great! The food is delicious. We had the tuna appetizer and shared fish and chips. All... excellent! Then we finished it off with an amazing key lime pie. My wife and I really enjoyed eating here. My wife got the Cajun pasta and I got a burger. Beware: the pasta is enough for 2 (or... maybe 3) people to eat so not a bad idea to share it! Overall nice experience - live music going right off the docks so it was areally nice atmosphere! Read more

Wow!! ABSOLUTELY. NOT Awesome. Watch that raw seafood as it smells like ammonia....might make you ???? SICK! Ahi seared tuna... Not seared at all. Sort of raw and slimy. Subpar seafood restaurant for sure. Definitely decent enough for a meal - but if you?re looking for that sweet vacation spot for... an all-out deluxe seafood cuisine, then this probably isn?t it. Everything is pretty much fried and very greasy. I got the crabcakes; they were alright but I wouldn?t order them again because they weren?t lump and instead were super stringy and moistinside. Decent flavor but needed to be cooked more. For 38$ I think I expected more. I got fries and hush puppies as my sides.Fries weren?t anything special; the hush puppies were actually very delicious. We had a pretty good lunch here today. I had the grouper dog. They forgot the cheese and I was curious to try a fish sandwich... with cheese, but it was still good and the portions were great. My husband had the cheesy shrimp sandwich and it was reallygood. Neither of us cared much for the crab dip, but their homemade chips were pretty good. We checked out their shirt shop andbought some merch to take back home as well! Unfortunately it was really cold out today, this would be a perfect spot foroutdoor dining by the water! Read more

Amazing location, outdoor seating has a beautiful view. Service was cheery, fast and helpful. Never had gator bites before but... these were delicious although a little chewy. All the seafood we ordered scallops, shrimp, and flounder was fresh anddelicious! I recommend this place if you?re in the area and would come back especially on a nice day where you sit outside. Had a great time at Salty Dog - the staff were all so friendly and attentive, even on a warm busy day. Our food was delicious-... peel and eat shrimp seasoned perfectly, fish tacos and salmon BLT (no pic of that). The drinks were refreshing and reasonablypriced. We will definitely be back!
