The food is excellent here. The servers/owners very welcoming. Why 2 stars? I'm Asian American obviously...but I am noticing... more and more folks who come to the restaurant who are NEW TO AMERICA, which is 100% FINE, but the issue that some of thesepeople are VERY LOUD, very rude and they bring their small children with them and their children watch programs on their IPAD onFULL VOLUME, I have not been back in quite a while now because of this.THE NOISE and YELLING is unbearable. If you want yourregular customers to support your restaurant, AS WE DID DURING COVID when the restaurant was completely empty....please ask therude people to be quiet. NO YELLING AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS. They let their children run around and behave in an unacceptablemanner for a middle class American city. This is NOT ASIA. Please respect the environment you are in! Read more

My husband and I like this place for a quick no fuss dinner. Tofu Kitchen is unpretentious and their Korean cuisine is deeply... flavorful, spicy and super delicious. Side dishes are yummy too and this is served while you wait for your meal to arrive. Teais good and the service is quick. Read more

Sondobu is one of my favorite korean food and whenever I find one, I always try it. The food and service received here are all... good. I was just hoping the soup is a little thicker. It was too thin for my liking. I got the seafood sondubu and my hubby gotthe kimchi sondubu. Will still come back. Read more

Used to love this place and come once a week with friends and family. I was a regular. I spent $76 on food including a good tip... and one of the ladies at the counter was rude. We asked for to-go boxes and they gave three tiny containers for our tofu soup, mackerel, galbi, extra rice (which we paid for), and scallion pancake. How were we supposed to fit everything? Then I approachedthe counter and asked for two more containers and the lady asked what were the containers for. Uh...for my food? Why am I beinginvestigated? Then she FOLLOWS me to my table to inspect what I need the containers for. We had a refill of banchan/side dishesthat we ate and had a little leftover - I felt sorry to leave it since it would be thrown out. I asked if I could have acontainer for the banchan and she said "No. Banchan can't be taken to-go." It would have gone in the trash anyways so why doesit matter if it's in my stomach or if I take the leftovers home? How wasteful. And THEN before we could say anything else shequickly cleared the table of the banchan on purpose so we couldn't pack it. Then she tried to take my galbi to pack it. I toldher I wanted to pack it myself because I didn't want anyone touching my food due to COVID. And still she tried to insist onpacking it and didn't seem to want to let go. Honestly I'm disgusted. I was introducing a friend to this place but we will notbe returning and I will no longer be recommending this place to anyone. It's not worth it for the terrible management and theircheap shortcuts. Do better. Read more
