We had an absolutely wonderful dinner with friends. The food was excellent, the atmosphere nice, and the service as positive and... helpful as we could have asked. It is the sort of place where you could dress up a bit if you wanted to, but most people had onjeans. Read more

Simply amazing. One of the best Italian restaurants in the metropolitan area. The owner came to us and in such a humble way he... recommended a few options, truly you could see the passion for his food. Love the authenticity of the food and the atmosphere ofthe restaurant. Read more

Well be prepared to spend some money when you come here but it is worth every dollar. We had the hangar steak and the fresh... fish. Wow, both were amazing. Finished with a cappuccino and tiramisu. So fabulous. The staff made the dinner even better withvery attentive service without over doing it. The owner even came out to present the specials and tell a little about thehistory of the restaurant and some of the dishes. Read more

My bf and I celebrated our four year anniversary so we wanted to find good Italian restaurant. I’m glad I try this place.... Everything we got was great! Flavor, fresh you name it. I had nothing to complain about. Service was great. I forgot her namebut loved her vibe. They gave they own parking space nothing to worry about. It’s a must try ! Very nice place... friendly and courteous staff, delicious food. I'd like to see more menu options for those who can't eat... cheese or cream. Atmosphere is intimate with very low lights. My hubby and I had been in a car all afternoon, were kind oftalked out and wanted to read (both avid readers). Not possible unless we asked for another table. Since we were not from thearea and on work/ business, and since we had no reservation, I didn't feel like we could ask for another table. That would havebeen rude and over the line. The salad, bread and main dishes were all terrific, although I found the salad dressing just atouch too acidic. My husband ordered the beef ravioli and I might have chosen that, too, if I could have been assured that themeat stuffing didn't contain a significant amount of cheese. The service from Kimberly was good. It's hard to accommodate aperson who can't eat cream/ cheese in this restaurant, and in most Italian restaurants, I realize. In all, a very good meal. Iwish I hadn't had salmon yesterday because I could have ordered that. I'd eaten salmon yesterday for the evening meal and todayfor the noon meal (leftovers), so I was "salmoned out," so to speak. Note: from the main road in front of this restaurant, you'll have to go around the side of a bakery to find the restaurant. There was a sign saying "Sugo" along the main road, thankfully! Read more

I would put this place top of the must try list, if you have one. Everything was mouth watering delicious and the atmosphere was... very cozy! We had a large party there, and staff was extremely friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Our server Roy made surethe whole evening was seamlessly. Can’t wait to visit again and try different items on the menu. Read more

We celebrated our anniversary here and the staff was lovely about it. We got two small glasses of champagne and a candle and... they congratulated us. I always appreciate when the staff is so attentive and nice—sadly it’s very rare nowadays. Also therewas no loud music or anything that would’ve made it impossible to keep a conversation going. The restaurant has a romanticatmosphere, the downside however is that it was so dark that I’ve seen many people using the flashlight of their phones to beable to read the menu. I also like to see what I’m eating so I’d have liked it better if the place had been brighter. Thecocktails were amazing—we had the Apple Spicer and the Walnut Old Fashioned and both were great (I liked the Apple Spicerbetter). We had the Spanish Octopus and the Arancini—the Arancini were heavenly, the octopus was also good. Then we had thebranzino which was a daily special and the Eggplant Parmesan—we liked both, they tasted amazing and had different textures andinteresting flavor combinations. The only thing is that as our waiter—Roy, who was absolutely amazing and helpful—explainedthe branzino to us, we thought that it would be a bigger piece of fish but it wasn’t. Anyhow, it was very good. For dessert wehad the Tiramisu and the Cannoli—they were good but I wouldn’t say exceptional. I was a bit surprised that there were nopizzas on the menu and overall I thought there would be more traditional Italian dishes (lasagna, carbonara, etc.).Nevertheless, we had a lovely night and we really liked the food there, and the staff was super attentive and courteous. Can’twait to go back to try more deliciousness. Read more
