Mediocre Mexican food. Quality was acceptable, staff are very welcoming and the environment has a good vibe. Price-wise,... acceptable for what you would get. I had nacho and chicken stake. You should not expect something special but they wontdisappoint your either. Read more

Senor Patron at Johns Creek has a very enjoyable patio (dogs Ok). Chips for the table were fresh and hot. A decent choice of... vegetarian options. Back of the house staff bringing food out had to ask who had what - my only complaint (I'm old school). Read more

Been going here since this location opened up. Great atmosphere, chips are thin and salsa is not super chunky. Tacos always have... more meat in them than you'd think. Beers are cold and fresh, service is top notch but bartenders seem to always be super busywhich leaves you waiting sometimes. Chicken, beef, cheese and seafood enchiladas are great, burriots are giant and tasty.Sometimes I only get the guac with chips and salsa and it fills me up. Drinks are always on point unless you get the housemargaritas. The specialty dishes are unique and are delicious. Not much to complain about that's for sure. Get here before 6 ifyou don't want to wait for a table. Read more

After being sat and presented with chips and salsa, no one came to greet us or acknowledge our existence for 15 minutes. No... water. No fly by to tell us they would be right with us. Eventually I stood up and tracked down a server, who apologized bytelling me that I just need to be patient, that sometimes he has to wait 20 minutes before he gets service. As if because he hadpoor service somewhere else, I deserved the same. I was ready to leave, but the kids were hungry, so I fed them, but ate nothingmyself. Not giving this restaurant any more of my money than required. Read more

I?ve been coming here for 4 years and I?ve waited to see if things got better over the last 6 months. The manager, Monday 7/18... at 7:30pm is dismissive, interrupting, rude, and insisted everything is the same. Unfortunately it is not the same. Our shrimpwas undercooked and lacks the pop of cooked shrimp. It was mushy and wasn?t seasoned. The salsa is either sour or not seasonedor has too much tomato and was awful. The worst part is the manager not taking the time to listen to the customer. And the staffis dejected as well, I would know being that I go here often. I couldn?t imagine they are getting treated by customers verynicely considering what I assume is just poor management and chefs behind scenes. Moreover the health rating is a 78. I?verecently had the same meal, Texas Fajitas, at Senor Patron the week before at Avalon and it was far superior. I will not becoming back to the Johns Creek location. And I would not give this restaurant any stars. And just 2 years ago it was muchbetter. I?ve seen this manager here for these years as well so I feel bad even writing this bc I know he?s seen better too. I?mtrying to not be overly critical, however this location has been struggling with consistency for about a year. The managerInsisting that the product is the same when I?m a regular customer telling you it is not the same is the final reason why I havedecided to write a review. I suggest going to the Avalon location. Johns Creek is treading water and probably should bereported. Read more
