Reserved a table for an anniversary dinner though OpenTable which worked out great. Arrived about 20 mins early to our 7:00... reservation and was seated right away. Was given a choice of a table or booth. We chose a table but in hindsight Booth wouldhave been better. Booths are around the edge of the restaurant naturally, and provide a spot for a bit more privacy and quietconversations. The restaurant was not very full but quickly picked up and was a bit loud in the center where we were seated. Theservers were extremely nice and knew items on the menu well and were able to provide suggestions when asked. We both hadexcellent steaks that were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. Before I even talk about the food, I have to say something about the service. It was impeccable. Our server was very... knowledgeable about the types of meat, recommended a delicious cocktail, came to check how everything is not too often. Weordered the crab cake and shrimp for starters - both were perfect. For the steaks we ordered the bone-in ribeye and the brick(fillet) - both were cooked to perfection. What happened to this place, is all I can say. This used to be the top steakhouse for our family but this will be our final... visit. The steak tasted like a block of salt and char and did not seem of good quality. My lobster tail looked like a mangledmess..not appetizing at all and had terrible flavor. They did bring me a replacement but it was entirely burnt and tasted likeit. I have to say that all the tails we had at the table were puny and the lobster mac&cheese was a joke…$22 for 3 tiny bitsof lobster smothered by noodles. The service was infuriating, it was a shame we had gratuity included due to our party of 10because she did not deserve it one bit. Her assistant server deserved it more because he spent more time at our table and wasmore pleasant than she. We always praised this place for the good food and service but never again. Rethink your decision if youwant to eat at this restaurant because it is not the same and certainly not worth the price anymore. Read more
I hosted a 50th birthday here in a private room. The booking process was simple and flawless. The room was setup beautifully.... Our server, Agnes, I can’t say enough nice things about. Convenient location. They have valet parking and limited self parking. However, there is always parking available at the... shopping center next door. The food is excellent and cooked to order. We had the salmon and the steak with sides of mashedpotatoes and grean beans. The Caesar salad was a little dry ... could have had a little more dressing. Starting with the positive- Great location, complimentary parking, amazing atmosphere and the live music was phenomenal. The... Staff was very friendly and majority are very attentive. Unfortunately our experience was not as great as expected from a finedining stablishment. Although majority of the Staff was great our waiter lacked charisma and made the impression he was beingbothered when we asked for additional items. Additionally he was on his phone and distracted a good portion of the time. Interms of food the price is as expected for a fine dining experience and the portions are fair however the quality of the entreeswas disappointing. We ordered the tomahawk steak which although perfectly cooked, the meat was not the quality expected as itwas full of nerves and frankly not edible. We ended up taking it home for the dog. The sides had good portions and were tastyand the tuna tartar (appetizer) was the highlight of the meal.
