Food was absolutely disgusting. Chips were stale as can be (tasted about a week old), the ?birria tacos? and ?quesobirria? were... essentially stew meat stuffed in a tortilla covered in fat and grease, the Al Pastor tacos came in a pool of grease, etc.Margaritas were ok. We got there late and found them still full---had to wait just a few short minutes to get a table. Well worth the wait if it had... been twice as long! This was my third time here (long ways from my house). I told the rest of the gang the food is good. It wastheir first time but now they all agree. They were short-staffed, like most restaurants today (hard to get anyone to work thanksto the current idiots in Washington), but our server did a fine job under the circumstances. We "thanked" her, too. We ate welland sat long at the table reminiscing and fellowshipping. We left late, full, satisfied, and well-attended, with the place stillfull of other satisfied customers. Laredo?s is the best Mexican food in Jesup. It?s authentic and full of flavor. I?ve had several different dishes from there and... they all been wonderful. We?ve dined and had take out but either way we were never kept waiting and the food was always servedhot and ready. Read more
Dude it's fr amazing, nothing on the menu disappoints. The flavor of the food and how fast it gets to your table is insane.... Service has always been good for me, even when it's loaded with other people. Their menu also has a good amount of choices,unlike many other Mexican restaurants. Read more
Went with my family(4) Tuesday evening about 520. Waited well over 1 1/2 hours for our food as we watched all those around us... eat and leave. Waiter blamed it on to go orders when all along he forgot to put the ticket in to the kitchen. As a formerrestaurant manager this is a time where I would expect management to come out and also for my bill to be nothing. Instead we getignored for a while and then a bill of $42. Normally I love this place but the ball was dropped big time on this evening. Read more
I keep coming back in hopes of improvement, yet I think this will be my last visit. My friends drove all the way from Chatham... County for me to treat them to a nice birthday dinner; however, I & they were FAR from pleased and I was embarrassed! Thesilverware wasn't clean (had to request a glass of hot water), our chimichangas were very tough, the "spanish rice" looked &tasted like regular rice with A LITTLE red food coloring, they said the salsa was watered down (& it DID look like it), we askedthat no lettuce be put on the plate of one of the orders (yet it was), and the refried beans were also watered down. On apositive note - the Tex Nachos (chicken, steak, shrimp & cheese on a bed of chips) was decent though. Lastly, the way theparking lot is set up, we had a sticky time getting out. The Tazon de Birria is delicious! It's my new favorite item on the menu.
