I normally don?t like big Italian style sandwiches but this place is different- the quality of their meat, bread, cheeses,... sauce, all of it- is top notch. By far the best Italian sandwich I have ever had. I had the vodka chicken parm on garlic breadwhich was amazing. We also got a side order of nuggets which are great pieces of chicken meat and breaded perfectly. Read more

The key to any successful business is honesty and integrity and ultimately this place has failed I had a error ordering online... kept getting an error saying your order could not be process, but I was actually being charged each time for a total of 6. Iwas assured it would be taken care of. But after waiting few days I was still charged 3 times for the same order again they saidthey would look into it and after a day they got back to me saying they don't see it in the system this is after showing them mybank account showing the money was debited out of my account. I can't understand why a business would do something like this but these days nothing shocks me anymore. If you visit here make sure to pay cash and don't use online ordering because youwould be taking a risk and the venue is not honest. Hope this can help others. Read more

People rave about chicken cutlet sandwiches from Old school places in Hoboken but this is way better. High quality ingredients... and good ratio for a great sandwich. Read more

Awesome sandwich! Great flavor and the bread was fluffy and crusty (texture wise) at the same time. Eggplant was fried thin and... was complimented with beautifully sliced mozz. A must try in JC heights! Will be back Read more

Just moved to JC & as a dedicated fan of Sal, Kris & Charlie?s Deli in Queens, NY it was my mission to find the tastiest Italian... sandwiches on this side of the Hudson. Everything about these subs was great; subs weren?t soggy, bread is super fresh andtasty. I had an eggplant parm sandwich which had a great balance of sauce and fillings. I?m super stoked to try a new sandwicheach time I visit, cause they have such delicious combos. Definitely some of the best Italian cold cut sandwiches as well I?vehad! The only cons I had were the prices according to the size of the sandwich. I know the pandemic has led to prices ofingredients to go up everywhere, but I?ve gotten a sandwich from an Italian deli (the one aforementioned) for the $14 price, andit is twice as large as the sandwiches from Veloce (post pandemic). These are pretty tiny though - what they lack in size, theymake up for in flavor. I?d recommend to the business to either offer different bread sizes for the sandwiches, or adjust theprice point to be more realistic. Read more

Finally got the chance to try Veloce and I was so impressed. I ordered a #4 (Chicken Cutlet, Burrata, Tomato, Basil Pesto, Olive... Oil and added balsamic glaze) and it was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. I mean burrata on a sandwich? what could bebetter than that? Nothing. If you are looking for a new sandwich shop to add to your rotation of restaurants? make it Veloce. You will not be disappointed. Read more
