So glad I found this spot! The chicken is hot but holds plenty of flavor. Even the slaw and pickles were perfect. I was a big... fan of the Twinz sauce which was sort of a sweeter spicy mayo. It matches great with the fries and sandwich! I would definitelyrecommend the mild if lots of spice isn?t your thing. Even the mild had plenty of kick to it. I?ll definitely be going backhere, even though the prices are high. Also the sandwich combo is more than enough food for a dinner Read more

Very delicious. Excellent price too. Good portions for the price. The spice is perfect. "Medium"is great," "spicy" is... challenging but worth it to try once! I can't recommend this place more. Best Nashville chicken in New Jersey. Only thing betterI ever had was Dave's hot chicken in California. Read more

Why did the chicken cross the road? To get away from the spice at twinz hot chicken. "Hot" is pretty spicy enough as it is.... There's an even spicier sauce?! Very good flavor. Read more

As we're exploring new halal spots in Jersey City I was excited to find a hot chicken restaurant nearby to try out. TWINZ is... located in the heart of Journal square just a block from the path, parking is not easy but there's ample seating in therestaurant. Calling in an order was easy as there aren't too many items on the menu, and it was ready in about 15 mins. Wetried the chicken sliders (medium & mild) and loaded fries. The sliders are priced very fairly, but also aren't super fillingif you are used to massive chicken sandwiches at Namkeen/birdies/smashville (order two if you have an appetite). The spice levelis accurate, I found the medium to be just the right amount of spice although my wife thought the mild was a little spicier thanthe average hot chicken burger so if you don't like spice at all, don't experiment with the mild. The chicken was cookedperfectly, crispy + juicy, and the bun was fresh and delicious. The loaded fries may have stolen the show...I thought the slaw+ hot chicken pieces over the fries with the TWINZ sauce was excellent. Highly recommend you order this!! Overall a solidexperience and I would say TWINZ is a contender in the NJ hot chicken game. Read more

This is a must try!!! First of all I love the baked Mac and Cheese. It?s really baked and tastes so good. The sliders are so... good. I don?t like coleslaw generally but this one is amazing. Love the waffle fries and the sauce they give is sooo good! I getmild heat because the medium is actually pretty spicy!!! Friendly and nice customer service. This is gourmet fast food! (Andit?s halal!!) Read more

Journal Square has its very own halal, Nashville style hot chicken spot. Each order is made fresh and takes about 10 mins so... order ahead before heading to the restaurant for pickup. The menu is brief but executed perfectly producing hot chicken that isjuicy and crispy every single time I have tried it. Read more

Pretty good hot chicken spot. The chicken was real cooked and the spices on it weren?t too much of a ?hot? taste but more... flavorful. Their fries were good as well but the macaroni did taste a little runny. Their chicken is worth the price and veryfilling. If you like spice, start with a medium and work your way up to spicier flavors. If you?re not a fan of the spice get itwith no spice, it is still flavorful. Not a bad spot for journal square!
