Customer service good. Food is pretty decent. Neighborhood is run down. The portions have shrunk. I had the Chicken & Waffles.... Portion was tiny with 2 small pieces of chicken, and 4 scallions on top of one medium sized waffle. For $16 I'd expect more. Read more
My boyfriend and I were really hungry and had to pee so this was a godsend when we were in the area. Service was great. The food... was satisfactory but overall alright. The boyfriend ordered steak and eggs. Steak was great, eggs over cooked. I got the recortapancakes with the waiters advice. Wasn’t impressed too much. Literally the BEST BRUNCH I've had in a while!!! I ordered the steak and eggs and it was absolutely amazing! The star of the... show was the fried donuts and literally the most delicious white sauce with a pinch of rum. I can't stress enough how amazingthis place is. We’ve been twice for brunch and food is great. Loved the avocado toast, and the eggs Benedict especially. French toast was... quite tasty just wish there had been more berries. The ricotta pancakes are delicious but relatively small portion. The steakfrom the steak and eggs was the only thing not as good. It’s a pretty thin cut, so although it was tasty, it was quitedry. Really bad food and service.... Wouldn't recommend. My chicken was slimy and the hollandaise sauce was thin/broken. I asked the... waiter for hot sauce like 5 times and it never came. Eventually, I just got up and grabbed it myself. The place was empty btw.You could probably just leave without paying and the servers wouldn't even notice it. Disgusting food, bad service, and a lot ofmoney. Stay away; A kitchen nightmare. Where's Gordon Ramsay when you need him. Read more
The food is bomb, it's BYOB, there's indoor and outdoor seating, nice chill atmosphere, and the service is always quick and very... friendly! I especially recommend the potatoes, they're always seasoned perfectly. (But honestly everything I've eaten here hasbeen amazing so) Read more
The Franklin is exactly what I want in a local Jersey City restaurant. They have cozy indoor dining and cool outdoor dining.... Their staff is quick, attentive, and nice. And their food is really great. I also appreciated their menu - not too few but alsonot too many items to choose from! The Franklin Burger was large, cooked perfectly, and very tasty - we were pleasantlyintrigued by the chorizo and burrata on top of the meat. The Braised Short Ribs were also very tasty, served with deliciousmashed potatoes and asparagus. Can’t wait to come back, next time for brunch! FYI. They are BYOB =] Read more
