I hate giving places less than 4 or 5 star reviews, but I can?t even bring myself to give more stars after my experience... unfortunately. The food took a looooooooong time to come out, which I try to be understanding of. But then it was cold when Igot it. Little room temp and colder? I politely mentioned it was cold and they took it back, I sat back down out back, then shehands it back to me two seconds later barely even above room temp? for a breakfast that cost $20 for Benedict and basicpotatoes, this just doesn?t cut it. Flavor was okay coffee was hot, but not worth the wait or cold food. They need bettersystems or more staff. Hopefully they figure it out either way because the venue is cool and i want to like the place. Almostforgot that they forgot to put hollandaise on the Benedict first time around too lol Read more

The ambiance of this cafe/brunch spot could not be better. Come for the pastries, stay for the environment. They have done such... a fine job of creating a relaxing, welcoming, and eclectic eating area that will have you wanting to sit in the garden forhours. The cheddar scallion scone was hands down one of the best I've ever had (I know this sounds prissy, but I have highstandards for scones in particular). No matter what you have, you won't regret your visit:) Read more

Cute sandwich and coffee shop along the rapidly changing Monticello corridor. They have a wonderful covered outdoor patio in... their backyard! This makes it a great destination when the weather is nice and you want to eat outside. They have a solid menuwith interesting options and my sandwich was fantastic! While restaurants are experiencing the pains of inflation like the restof us, $15 for a sandwich is rather steep so this won't be a regular stop for me. This was the only downside of a wonderfullunch experience. Read more

This place is a gem in this location ! Was so surprised to find something this good around this area. The patio is just magical,... completely crafted with cleverly recycled vintage objects, genius ! We had a latte , mocha and croissants. The mocha was toosweet for my taste, for me a good mocha is a subtle marriage between a latte & hot chocolate so I like to feel that coffee kickin it ( I?ll definitely make sure to mention that to them next time) the croissants were a little under baked, that nice Goldencrispy texture is everything in a viennoiserie ???????? Overall, J?adoooore! Happy I discovered this lil gem and definitelyrecommend it! Read more

I have been to Jersey City many times and never noticed this spot. I was looking forward to getting a snack from here. When I... arrived I parked nearby on the street. I walked in and there was only room outside for dining. The place is pretty smallindoors. I was told by the really nice young lady that the only thing that was included for the event was a pastry of any kindand a barista drink. I let her know that there was a mistake on the invite because people would think they could have any itemand I showed her and she apologized. I picked the apple pastry and iced green tea with honey. She made it to my liking. The teawas good and the pastry was pretty good too. There were no chunks of apples more like apple paste but it was good. I had apretty decent experience. Read more
