Reviews for The Cliff in Jersey City, NJ
A slightly above average hipster lunch and brunch place if you find yourself in Jersey City Hights and need to eat. Vegan and... vegetarian options are available. Food is fresh and pretty tasty. Today I had excellent shrimp tacos: light and refreshing. Cuteoutdoor dining area. Staff seems rushed, preoccupied and not overly friendly. Read more
Small and cozy cafe. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS. There wasn?t anything we ordered and didn?t like. Top favorite are the... brioche French toast and truffle fries. Definitely will be coming back Read more
Quaint little spot. I had the pear and goat cheese salad and added some shrimp. It?s a small place with a little outdoor eating... space for cooler days. I went for lunch on a weekday and it wasn?t crowded. Read more
So delicious. I had the Buffalo cauliflower wrap and it was PERFECT. Gorgonzola was just enough without being overpowering.... Paired it with a blackberry coconut smoothie. 10/10 meal. Perfect, I?ll say it again! Highly recommend. Flavors on point!Sublime playing so summer vibes are set as well ???? Read more
This place is good. Strong coffee (if that?s your thing). All the food is delicious. I?m fond of the grilled cheese ???? ????... . I swap bread for sour dough cause it?s 2 pillows of loveliness. Their Dijon mustard is creamy with a kick. Their slicedpear and goat cheese salad ???? and their breakfast potato?s are a favorite too. They have outdoor seating in front and in theback. The music is excellent. Some new wave, some modern vibey tunes.. Some early 2000?s (like MGMT). Good stuff. I onlywish they had more latte flavors besides just mocha. And that they were open on more days. Oh and it?s got pescatarian ???? ,vegetarian ????, and vegan ???? options. So no chicken, pork or beef here, guys. Read more
So I brought my parents here and they tried truffle fries for the first time. My dad literally went out and ordered truffle oil... the next day. I mean? I like where his head is at because these fries are punch-yah-in-the-face good. You?ll taste it lingeringfor hours later but daaaaang it is worth it. I love that when you leave this place you feel full but not stuffed. Their Frenchtoast is the best thing on the menu though? best I?ve ever had. Read more
This is a really nice place. Kind of a hidden gem. The interior is cozy and artsy. I would definitely recommend getting in the... waitlist before arriving to avoid waiting. The food is amazing. We had huevous rancheros and french toast and both of the disheswere great. The freshly squeezed orange juice is actually freshly squeezed and with pulp. We loved the place and woulddefinitely go back to try the rest of the menu Read more
I love it here, ambient is nice and calm, food is very different than the usual and it is very moderate on the oil.
