Food and drinks are excellent. Ambiance and the music vibes are nice. Employees attitude and servers attentiveness is HORRIBLE... and you are automatically charged 20% tip ????. Train your servers to work for their money not have it simply given to them whena customer walks in the door. They treat their customers like it don’t matter and they don’t care. Food here is awesome.. Even the drinks are pretty good and not watered down.. There is no question about the quality, since... everyone in our group absolutely loved what they ordered. But they can definitely improve on the service.. It is packed onweekends and I understand the staff will be extremely busy, but when you have to wait for 10 minutes or more just to havesomeone even come to your table is not that great.. Read more
The Boil Forces 20% tip only downside. However, love the seafood variety, especially soft crab and boil bag options including... amazing drinks. The service was great. We even gave them extra because the service was great. Read more
From their on-brand interior design for both indoor and outdoor dining, their fire drinks (figuratively), and extreme nice... employees, The Boil hit my Cajun craving for sure. When you walk in, they take your temperature and write down a contact infoper COVID regulations. Then you have the option to sit either outside, inside by the windows or their booths. It was a bit windyso we went for the booth option which was super cute and isolated so you can definitely say we were social distanced from theother customers. We ordered a pina colada and passion fruit marg - both exceeded our expectations and very on point to theirnames. We tried the strawberry marg didn't hit the same though. *Food* Oysters - they came at a good size (larger than theoysters we ate in a different restaurant in Manhattan, they were much smaller and expensive). Queen Combo - we ordered the craband crawfish with theBoil special sauce since I never had crawfish so thought I'd give it a try. Nothing wrong with thecrawfish! I think I just prefer shrimp haha. This is supposed to come with oen potato and one corn so make sure they includethose in the bags as well! Ours was forgotten so we had to ask for them but the sauce was super good - highly recommend. Highly recommended. Had a fun dining experience. The place has a fun vibe and the decor makes you feel like you’re at a beach... side shack. The lemonades (passion fruit and mango) are refreshing and paired perfectly with the crabs. The Cajun fries aredelicious and I’d highly recommend it. The whole experience is pretty good. They have a 90 min dining limit and pre-charge you20% hospitality fee with your check. Also, if you want a bigger table then it’s better you call in for reservation else beprepared to try and cramp the baskets on your table. Read more
We were seated outside and left for about 15/20 minutes before someone came to take our order. The wait staff was very... unorganized. We started off with the oysters, the ones that the 2 waitresses had no clue about where they are from. The oysterswere not cleaned well and lots of grit inside them. The crab cake basket was great! Delicious crabcake and seasoning, not tomention the Cajun fries. We then ordered the crawfish and crab boil with corn and potatoes. I will say that if you have neverhad crawfish, be ready to work hard to extract a very little amount of meat. The shrimp were delicious and a large size. Itwould be nice to have headless/cleaned crawfish on the menu, such as the way the shrimp is offered with or without a head. Iwill say that our wait staff definitely weren't inviting, nor did they explain or go more into depth about the items we ordered.We left a bit disappointed but possibly would return. Read more
I liked the food and the service. The space is chill. I dont like the surprise of gratuity being included in the bill... automatically. I haven't been to a place that does that in a while. I usually stay away from those places, i never feel like theservice matches what im being forced to pay. I should have read some reviews... maybe someone mentions it. I don't think i willbe back but only because i dont like being forced to pay gratuity / about the food, the crab sliders where ok, and the snow crabbag was delish. .. most places include eggs in the bag, but not this place ... I was charged for them here ????. There are manyplaces that offer the same stuff for a little less ????. I want to give 2 stars but i didn't dislike the place but the 3 starsreally only represents 2 and half. Read more
