I have often visited this restaurant. This is my favorite Italian restaurant at Grove street. They have a cute outdoor sitting.... I absolutely enjoy their Spaghetti Cacio e pepe and cheese pizza with Pinot Grigio(vegetarian alert). I enjoy their tiramisu aswell. Staff is very friendly and polite. Read more

stopped in with my BF for an early Sunday dinner and the restaurant wasn't too busy. HH was still available and we started off... with an aperol spritz and a beer. we tried out the following: -meatball sandwich: DIVINE! perfectly seasoned meatballs, richtomato sauce, and melty mozzarella cheese on a chewy ciabatta. we really enjoyed this and still couldn't stop raving about itdays later. the arugula salad that came with the sandwich was pretty good too, i polished it off. for $14, this is a very solidmeal! -margherita pizza: thin and crispy Roman-style pizza. it was simple and tasty, portion size was pretty decenttoo. -tiramisu: creamy and not too sweet, perfect ending to our meal. service was excellent and the food was tasty. a verygood value considering we had leftovers for another meal too. will return for sure! Ooh???????? This place was like something out of a movie ???? Like when you have a first date that is going to be... spectacular. First you order wine???? to cleanse your pallet. Then you laugh while you get prepared to wow your date with yourdelectable sense of taste. Then you order meatballs in a sauce that is so flavorful that you feel like you're sitting inItaly. Then you order salmon on a bed of spinach that tastes like it was prepared by the freshest herbs from mama's garden! Youorder your date freshly made pasta ???? Gramigna con Salsiccia! You eat and laugh???? the wait staff is so attentive andcurteous that you don't mind a nice tip. ???? The night ???? is still young and you have cemented a memory that can be playedforever in time. A beautiful story ???? Read more

The Margherita pizza was delicious. It was thin but good for two. The fritatta was okay but didn't have much flavor. The... meatball sandwich was fair. As for the location, this restaurant is in Downtown, Jersey City. It is a vibrant area filled withmany restaurants and other things to see. The restaurant itself is cute, too. Read more

Ambience is good , but food could be better. It was way too greasy for Italian food. Pizza is nice , but pasta is super bland.... Moreover the oily dripping all over makes it very obnoxious for the palette. Definitely not for the heart healthy consciousfolks. Read more

On a busy Friday night we sat at the bar and our bartender was very attentive. He made good cocktail recommendations (blood... orange Spitz and the Italian Manhattan) while we waited for our food. The spaghetti gamberi (I think that's the name) wasdelicious as was the zucca pizza. Read more

Nice lively atmosphere. Food was slightly above average. Good presentation, but missing some flavor. Wine was good and strong. I... got the impression the waitress didn't know much about wine. Service was OK. Waitress was very friendly but very busy; not herfault at all. They were very busy and it looked like they could have used a couple more wait staff. I would come back here, butthere are lots of alternative options in this area. Read more

They had plenty of outdoor seatings and most people opted for outside. We preferred the air-conditioned indoors. But the... pew-like bench was uncomfortable for me. I liked that they had 250 ml sized wine choices. We started with some white winefollowed by some nice Chianti. The wine prices were very reasonable. Service was friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the Shrimpscampi appetizer. For main courses, the seared branzino filet was nicely cooked, but there were some fish bones, and the greenbean side was chewy. The presentation could be more refined. The Bolognese pasta was only average. Read more
