First time - We just walked in and ordered the Signature Pizza. The Manager was super friendly and helped us understand the... options. He made the experience great. And yes, the pizza was yummy! They acknowledge you a little slower than you would like but that is because they are understaffed. They are extremely busy in... my experience of stopping in to place orders, but the finished product is hot and tasty and worth a mildly above normal waittime.... I advise ordering over the phone 30 minutes to an hour before you intend to host the game.... Used their app a few times to order food home. They are the only fast food pizza chain that delivers in and around Newport,... Jersey City. I found the deliveries pretty quick, mostly within 30 mins and the taste is pretty consistent at decent reasonablepricing. Enroll for their rewards system called Papa rewards to get 10$ discounts for every 75$ spent which is pretty cool.They also send you a few coupons for free cheese sticks regularly which I love ????. I mostly order from their specials menuand choose their thin crust pizza with choice of toppings. I like their cheese sticks, it's a side but it's almkstnlike orderinga medium pizza. Yes, Pineapple does belong on a pizza ????+???? ???? Overall I do recommend this place for a quick pizzadelivery especially in the Newport area. Read more
My order arrived on time, but that was about the only thing right with the order. The pizza was pretty awful, undercooked and... extremely thin-crusted (I hadn't ordered thin-crust). The delivery driver left the pizza at my lobby. When I called him torequest if he could deliver it to my apartment, he said he'd already left. If Papa John's charges $4.99 in delivery fees and a15-20% tip, I think it's reasonable to expect the order to be delivered to my apartment unit and not have it left in thelobby. I might still order from Papa John's in the future but I'm personally done with this particular location. Read more
