THEE BEST caribbean restaurant in the ENTIRE city. Their menu has EVERYTHING, because of covid some dishes are a lil more... expensive but worth it. I love food and post alot of reviews, check my rap sheet. Giving 3 stars based solely on the beef patties Service: Ehhh,... sweating man hovering over food, red flag. Food: Okay, beef patties are on point but curry goat is ALL bones for $16+dollars... didn't want rice with my entrée, so I opted for cabbage and goat meat. Womp womp (Sidebar: The Jerk Pork lookedgood, Jerk Chicken looked like it was drenched in flavorless oil) Atmosphere: Doesn't matter when I'm hungry or starving. I'lleat in a mop closet if necessary. Parking is a nightmare. Order online... Overall: It's decent but the layout of the storeshould be reconsidered, definitely don't like a sweaty person hovering over food, just saying. Might be more sanitary to gohere in the winter months or just order online to avoid feeling bourgeois while your food is being packaged. ????? Read more
After moving to NJ, I miss my home food and I thought I would get that craving filled here, I didn't. The dhal puri was bland,... thick with not a lot of peas and the potatoes weren't peeled which made it unappetizing. Maybe it's just me but I've never goneto a restaurant where they didn't peel the potatoes before currying. Also, it was pricey for what I got but at least the peppersauce made it better. Some of their other dishes did look delicious but I won't be going back there. Read more

The guy serving you will be sure to give you a cupful of sweat mixed in with your meal. The guy is dripping in sweat while... making the meal I saw sweat fall into the food being as he stands over it talking, being that I had paid for it already i tookit threw it out. That will be the last time going there unsanitary!!!! The mom is nice my friend said the food lacked flavor anthe curry goat was still hard but no taste. Message to the men there use a towel to remove the sweat before serving ppl foodnobody wants your body fluids in their meal. Read more
I just got some food here and it is honestly horrible. I ate bad food in the past just so that my money didn't go to waste ...I... couldn't even do that. I had to throw that food in the trash where it belongs. I have nothing against these people: I'm acaribbean man myself. I'm genuinely saving people from the surprising hurt of a spontaneous, disgusting meal. Read more
It's a modest looking place with a good variety of dishes and is right on the money. No frills necessary. Their food is very... flavorful and has a warm, comforting, home made feel to it. Read more
Ordered here quite a bit when I lived in Jersey City. I wouldn?t say it was great but it definitely did the job.
