I have been dying to come here since I moved into the city! The food here was extremely delicious from the sides to the... entree. I ordered a petite filet which came with asparagus and cheddar mashed potatoes. I also ordered a side of Mac & cheese.The bread here was delicious especially their seasoned butter. Liberty Prime Steakhouse hosted a Macallan Pairing 5 Course Dinner last night . The following is what we so delightedlyenjoyed: Wagu Carpaccio, paired with Macallan 10 yr old really appetizing followed by Scalloped trio paired with Macallan 12double cask enjoyable ????, then we had Lamb lollipops paired with Macallan 15 yr old delicious and top it off with Filetmignon with 18 yrs old mouthwatering All prepared by their very talented chef ????????? ???? ???? Chuck Nina is theestablishment hostess, very pleasant, friendly ???? ???? ???? ????. Our server Alejandra was exceptional ???? ???? ???? in herservice to our table. Last but not least Justin manager of operations was very attentive,eager,passionate,willing to ensure thatall of his clients needs ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? were met in a timely ?? manner. Expected more for a prime steak house. First, the food; The bone marrows themselves were bland, the only flavor were from the... cheese compound butter they put on top. The Grilled Octopus was cooked perfectly, however, the whole dish could use somerefinement, it was also kinda bland. Finally, I decided to get their halibut special as my entree, since I did not want to takeany leftover back to the hotel room. Well, that was a mistake. The halibut was dry, definitely over cooked. Second, the service;I was ignored for most part of the dinner service, even though I spent over $100 just by myself. And since I haven’t seen thewaiter after the appetizers were served, I couldn’t tell him about the dry halibut. I had to ask the busboy to tell the waiterthat I was ready for the check. Also, when I asked the busboy to put in a set of plastic utensils with the leftovers, he made abig deal out of it and said he couldn’t, because they only give them out for takeouts and that if I want plastic utensils,I’ll have to places a separate takeout order. WOW, just WOW. And just when I was just about to ask for the manager, he changedhis mind and agreed to give me a set of utensils. I came here for the first time about a month ago and it was good but not great (especially for the price). I love the atmosphere... and the vibe it gives off. We started with the lobster cocktail and grilled octopus which was super delicious, I just wish theoctopus portion wasn't so small. We got the tomahawk steak to share and it looked a little sad. It was mostly fat and I waspretty disappointed about that. It also lacked flavor so we ended up asking the server for more salt. Also, all the garlicreally confused me. I read through other reviews and saw that the other food was pretty bland as well. If they just seasonedtheir steak more I think this place could be great. Read more
