came in on a rainy Saturday morning with my bf and we opted to dine-in. we ordered at the counter and were given a number to put... on the table of our choosing. the cafe offered communal seating, as well as larger and smaller tables to fit your group. we gotthe following to try: -berries danish: sweet, buttery, a nice start! -bacon croissant: with runny egg, avocado, 1/2 strip ofbacon. bf liked this but IMO, the 1/2 strip of bacon just seems kinda stingy given the price. -le provencal sandwich: loved thecombo of roasted peppers, chicken, basil pesto, and lettuce. however, bread was a little hard and dry. i suspect they didn'tmake their own baguettes, they looked mass produced. -latte (large): pretty good cup of Joe! overall, i really liked the placebut it can be better with some minor tweaks (more bacon, better baguette). it's more of a 3.5 star kinda place but we will beback to try other things. Terrible service and bad bad hygiene. I ordered a latte but they gave me a watery watery cup of brewing coffee (the flavor is... definitely lacking or little to nothing). The lady who takes the order is so proud and mean and refuses to spare a paper bag formy sandwich. What?s worse, their paper cup is a total nightmare; it started to wet 10 min after I started drinking (see attachedphoto). Read more

I had high hopes for this place, but it was a huge disappointment. The staff are super nice and helpful, but the pastries,... coffee and breakfast sandwiches were terrible. Ordered the almond croissant and it was stiff as a board and kind of greasy. Theregular croissant was pretty good, light and flaky. My husband mentioned their coffee wasn't great and was actually lukewarmwhen he got it. We had a salmon brioche and croque madam and the bread was kind of crusty and stale feeling on the salmon andthe madam was crunchy on the outside and squishy on the inside with one piece of ham and an egg on top. I honestly won't beback. Not to spend $45 on mediocre food. Read more

Get the bacon croissant and the apricot danish! Oh and the iced lattes! Oh and the almond croissants.Actually everything here is pretty amazing. Read more

This café is adorable and has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. The flavor of their food is very good. But the pastry dough... is consistently uncooked at the bottom. It has happened to me on more than four occasions so I thought it was worth noting inthe review. Read more

Cafe Madelaine was a very cute spot! Loved the interior space. My fiancé and I went this past Saturday and each had a... tiramisu, and we split a violet cassis-flavored macaron. The tiramisu was chilled, which tasted wonderful. And the violet cassismacaron was one of the best macarons that I?ve tasted. I regret not having time to also have a coffee. It probably would havebeen amazing. I can?t wait to return! Read more

The quiche is excellent, very yummy and good size slice. Apple turnover was heavy on the bread but it did taste good once you... reach the Apple. The tuna sandwich was ordinary like any other tuna sandwich from a deli shop. The price is reasonable butleaning toward the edge of expensive on my scale. Read more
