I have waited 5 years to try Ample Hills Ice Cream since I got their cook book in summer of 2016. We are from Ottawa, Canada and... stopped by today in Jersey City with our three kids. We got there at 1pm and it said Open online and the sign was flipped toOpen, but it was locked and no staff were there. We waited for 10 minutes, but no staff showed up. We had other time sensitiveplans for the rest of our trip, so this was our only opportunity. Very disappointed. Still, this creamery still seems magicaland alluring to me! There were a lot of unique flavors to try but I wish it had the typical staples. I ended up getting the cookies and cream and... the milk/icecream had a slightly sour taste like an expired milk taste. I don?t think I will come back again due to the flavor. Read more
A fun shop and right on the main street of Jersey city. You can try their original flavors and choose between cup or a cone to... savour it. My personal favorite is the vegan lime Ice cream which was pretty different from the ones I had tried before. Theirchocolate variety is good too! Read more

The quality of ice cream here is really good. I have usually stuck to the more traditional flavors they offer and have never... been disappointed. My friends have gone for more adventurous choices and they keep coming back. I guess that is the bestendorsement :) They do need to work on organizing their store a little though. Make a place for people to form a proper queue sothat they don't need to stay outside in heat because the staff hadn't set a proper line inside. Also im general the team ispretty slow. Read more
