I have been here more than 5 times in 6 months as it is close to my place and of course for tasty meals. A small restaurant that... serves you authentic Mexican food. Their tongue taco is the best I've ever had. Also I highly recommend you to try Beef Birria,it is amazingly tasty. I have tried Aqua Chile Verde, it made me wanted to go back to have it again. Once that I ordered mixedseafood in red salsa, giant plate, it was good but some shrimps were not that fresh. The salad in a bowl made from fried crunchydough, OMG so yummy. What a treat while passing through Hammond LA. On taco Tuesday no doubt! The pineapple cilantro mojito was amazing and fresh.... The salsa is fresh, tasty and addictive! Idk if we went in on the wrong time/day but our experience with the food was horrible. I ordered a molcajete that comes with... nopales, shrimp, etc and he offered a molcajete but on a plate instead because it was better? Yeah no. The plate he brought mewas a sad excuse for a molcajete- no cheese, no nopales and the carne asada had absolutely no flavor but tasted like blood. Alsoon the plate was a piece of we couldn’t tell at first- fish or chicken and I still am not sure what it was. I also found arandom French fry mixed in with my grilled onions and peppers. Only thing we enjoyed were the bud light and horchata. Personallyhad a bad experience. Our total was $68. We don’t mind paying for food but good food and definitely took an L on this one. Read more
The waiter was nice and the restaurant itself was beautifully decorated. If I could say one thing about the food, and I might be... just me despite the 2 other people I was with, the food had no salt lol. Add some some salt lol. Seriously tho salt would benice. Like fr some salt on the food would be pretty good. Like fr a little dash of salt, a snippet, maybe a pinch? In otherwords, please add salt to your meal if you want some flavor???? Read more
The tacos are amazing! I love getting tacos so I go around from place to place and get them pretty often as I can. Stopped by... here on a whim. Their lengua tacos were perfectly cooked, very tender. The fish tacos were OUT OF THIS WORLD. Definitely myfavorite place to get fish tacos. The fish was lightly fried to perfection and the slaw and sauces complimented it perfectly.10/10 recommend.
