Tried tail- gators today. I spent $60 on wings, fries, and mozzarella sticks. Extra crispy wings were wet and soggy. The skin... was so moist I had to throw it out. I?m not sure you can even call these mozzarella sticks. It?s basically a soggy ball of doughbetter yet they look like soggy twinkies. They didn?t even give us any wing sauce. Little hidden jem. Hard to see because of the overpass but find it and stop in. Was a little slow with our food but considering... five to six tables walked in after us I can understand. But food was exceptional, worth the wait! Everything hot, fresh, andprepared to order. Outdoor seating area a plus; especially for us smokers. They have two locations and I have only ever been to the new one. I didn't realize the atmosphere was more like a Johnny rockets... at their original location. It's not bad. The new one is bigger and nicer and leaves a better impression. They did do trivianight which was cool but the questions were arguably ambiguous. Great bar food at a good price. Came in late one night for dinner. Only complaint is karaoke night at max volume and was a bit... much. Couldnt here across the table with out yelling. But, Everyone had a good time, little girl singer was great. Read more

I changed my plans during my holidays just to try the taste of gator, so I came to an specialised place called Tail-Gator, with... tshirts with gators and a logo with a gator... Haven't been here in a few years, so thought I was going to give it a go. Ordered 2 quesadillas one chicken and one shrimp and... order of fries because it came with nothing. Get home my order was wrong both chicken no shrimp, laying in a puddle of greaseand fries in bag again totally greasy. Talked my husband out of KFC'S because I wanted something alittle healthier and fresh,would of been better than what I got. Soggy, greasy and definitely not healthier or fresh. Visited the new SLW location today around 3:30pm. Our iced tea was dropped off Luke warm, with ice that disappeared completely... within five minutes. Ordered the Buffalo chicken salad and it was huge, chicken was crispy, and ingredients were fresh; howeverthe chicken was cold. My husband ordered a seafood platter that was good, but again, cold and the fries tasted like they sat outfor a while. The server disappeared after taking the order until half-way through our meal. Two managers and sever other staffmembers made eye contact as I looked around for help for about 10 minutes, and made NO EFFORT to help us out. Two managers. Noteamwork or communication whatsoever. Mind you, three people were also at the host stand and looked out way but saw nothing.They were sufficiently staffed up front, but not one person cared about the customer experience. The food runner did a good jobbringing us additional dressing and was more invested than anyone in the front of house. Train wreck.
