The good and bad... Good, best steak I have had in a long time( I ended up regretting those words when we went back), cooked... perfect with no fat, grits and biscuits perfect, waitress was amazing and kept the coffee cup full. My husband wanted baconinstead of ham and they really hooked him up with delicious bacon The bad, very dry over cooked eggs, and we ordered 2 slicesof Apple pie to go and when we got home the top dough was raw and the apples were hard. It was horrible tasting because of theraw dough. Called and the girl didn't know what to say. When we go back again we will try the pie again. It's just $9.00 for 2pieces of pie they should be bigger and cooked. Update went back tonight for dinner... Had high hopes for the steak, theyundercooked my steak that should have been med well but I finally got an apple pie that wasn't raw. What made me decide to nevereat at this location again was our waitress said you know we are not a steak restaurant.......... I didn't respond..... Don'tserve it if you can't cook it.... Time to take our money somewhere else. The last picture is what my med well steak looked like.Sent it back and it came back nuked, 1/2 it's size, dry and you couldn't cut it... They were not busy. We sat down at 7:30 pm at a 2 person table #121. Noticed many 4 person tables available, but we had to deal with this small... table. Won?t happen again, I will request a bigger table. Our server could of been more informative on selecting your sidedishes that are included with your meal, but the server took advantage of us by charging us full price instead of being aselected side. Manager came to our table for the 2nd time and would not erase the $4.99 that they over charged us for theincluded side dish. So I took the receipt from her and told her , it?s ok, I?ll post my review tonight for Cracker Barrel store# CB0500 Jensen Bch, Fl. off US1. Got to checkout and the receipt shows the charge of $4.99 for the pancakes we understood waspart of the side choice that are included with the meal. Very poor decision making by the Manager on duty after responding toher the 1st time we saw her when she?s making her rounds asking customers ?how is your meal? my reply was I had to pull out allthe staled croutons from my up-charged salad because they were hard as a rock, couldn?t even bite thru one. She offered morecroutons, but we didn?t have room on our small table for a dish of croutons. So no compensation for staled food and over chargeon our bill. Cracker Barrel never disappoints! As always, there was a small wait for us to be seated, but the hostess was very kind and did... her best to seat us as fast as possible. Our waitress came right away to take our drink orders. We ordered the Old TimersBreakfast w/ Hashbrown Casserole and Bacon and Chicken 'n Dumplings w/ Mashed Potatos. The food was nostalgic and flavorful, andwe definitely recommend you come here if you are looking for a cozy dining experience! Read more
